First of all, we would like to say a big thank you to all the Kickstarter and Backerkit backers who participated in the recent SunnySide playtests and gave their feedback. We received an incredible wealth of positive responses as well as some very insightful assessments, and we have a clear roadmap for what needs to be done to ensure SunnySide meets and exceeds your expectations.

RainyGames wants to personally thank all of you for your trust, patience, and well wishes this year, as well as your support for Rainy, SunnySide’s lead developer, as he recovered from his serious health scare this past spring. We are very excited for everyone to enjoy the full SunnySide experience in 2024!

[h2]SunnySide's Character Creator Demo features as a part of Next Fest![/h2]

Haven't played yet and don't know what's included in this demo? Then everything you need to know is here!

The SunnySide Character Creator Demo features the character creator taken straight from the start of your in-game SunnySide journey. Designing your own character is something we know players love to do, and we have made sure to give players full control over the body shape of their character and how they identify their gender.

At the end of the Character Creator, players will be given the chance to share their Squirrel Profile (the in-game social messaging app) ID Card across real-world social media and join our Discord, where you can interact with other passionate players and fans of our game! Be sure to tag your posts with #ShowYourSunnySide to share your creation amongst the community.

Whilst the demo doesn't continue into the gameplay, players are able to save their created character to their PC or laptop, and import the file into the full game when it releases later in 2023, allowing players to dive straight into their farming journey!

We can't wait to see the amazing characters you create, and we're so excited to bring you more SunnySide news and content soon!

To coincide with our new Character Creator Demo, the third episode of our Let's Play SunnySide series is out now, brought to you by the team at Merge Games!

The series follows Community Manager Ben, along with a new guest each month, exploring the world of SunnySide.

We play through a brand new build of SunnySide, taking a look at the new character creator - available to try out in our Character Creator Demo - and may other cool things!

The Let's Play series runs alongside the RainyGames Developer streams, and will give viewers the chance to watch the growth and development of the game, along with some gameplay tips and tricks, month by month!

We've also been asking our Discord community to pitch forward questions to ask our new guests, so for a chance to be a part of this make sure to join our server.
