Steam Next Fest Demo NOW LIVE!

Hello

We're excited, thrilled (and a little bit scared) to share that the Post Trauma demo is now available to download in Steam Next Fest!

The demo is from the beginning of the game, so you will get a taste of the puzzles, atmosphere and maybe a bit of combat! ːsteamhappyː

Keep in mind, we will save some more disturbing and unexpected things for later sections in the game but you'll have to wait till launch for that!

The demo is available to download right now and we're incredibly excited to hear what you think!

Thank you for your continued support

February 2025 Update: Steam Next Fest!

Hello

Hope you’re having a great 2025 so far. Thanks for all of your support last year!

We just wanted to let you know that development is proceeding well on Post Trauma and we’re all working really hard to make something truly special. We’re not quite ready to talk release date just yet but we will have some exciting news and updates to share in the coming weeks.

For now, what we can tell you is that Post Trauma will be in this months’ Steam Next Fest! That’s right, you’ll soon be able to check out a playable slice of the game and enter The Gloom for yourself.

This is a huge moment for us. While we’ve been fortunate to be able to take Post Trauma around the world, from Gamescom to Tokyo Game Show, our goal has always been to share the horror with as many people as possible and this feels like the perfect time for you to see what we’ve been up to.

We cannot wait to hear what you think of Post Trauma and look forward to providing more details on what to expect ahead of the demo’s release. Make sure to stay Wishlisted right here to get all the latest updates. Thanks for all of your support!

See you in The Gloom very soon!

Post Trauma is delayed until 2025!

Hey everyone,

We’ve been so delighted to see the response to Post Trauma and we cannot wait to get the game in your hands, but we do have some unfortunate news to share about release.

We're so sorry to announce that Post Trauma will no longer make its intended October 29th launch date. These decisions are never made lightly and we understand any disappointment.

Sadly, we don’t think the game is in the state it deserves to be just yet, and we want to ensure the first experience players have with Post Trauma is a special one.

Among other things, we need to tweak the difficulty curve, as well as polish the game and fix bugs and we prefer not to use post release patches to add things we feel should have been available on release.

We are also working hard to make sure the console versions are as good as the PC experience and vice versa, but as a small team this presents many challenges. Our goal has always been to make a game that meets high quality standards and provides players with a lasting, unnerving experience that will make the hair stand up on your arms.

Thank you for your understanding and patience, but also for your support and enthusiasm for Post Trauma. With a little extra time and attention we can bring you the game you deserve in 2025

August 2024 Update: Release Date, New Music and Fantastic Games

Hello!

In case you missed the big news last week, we've announced our release date! Post Trauma will officially launch on Steam on October 29th 2024, just in time for Halloween!

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

This is an enormous moment for us and one we're incredibly excited about. There's still a lot of work to do between now and then, of course, but it won't be too much longer before you're able to play Post Trauma for yourselves!

In our latest trailer, you get a new look at the Metro Station, an area that will be familiar to those who played the original demo on Itch. As you can see, it's come a long way since then but that's just the start.

You'll also get a look at some of the creatures you'll face, areas you'll visit and other characters you'll meet. We'll talk more about all of that in the coming weeks between now and release.

Perhaps the biggest thing you'll have noticed is the title track for Post Trauma, composed by Nicolas Gasparini (Myuu) playing in the background. We're all thrilled you're now getting a chance to hear the music for Post Trauma and it's but a taste of what to expect when the full game rolls around.
Fantastic Games 2024
As if that's not enough, it's just been announced that we'll be at Fantastic Games 2024 this September. In this first ever event, the sickest and most spine-tingling upcoming sci-fi, horror and fantasy indie games will be showcased in Austin, Texas, presented by Day of the Devs!

From September 20th till September 22nd, players will be able to check out Post Trauma alongside some other fantastic horror titles in an event sponsored by the likes of Blumhouse Games, Devolver and Raw Fury.

It's an incredible opportunity and we're so grateful for the chance to connect with the community, but are even more excited for new players to dive into Post Trauma.

And that's not all! Stay tuned, as we've got a lot more to talk about in the weeks and months ahead, so make sure to Wishlist Post Trauma and tell your friends to do the same!

See you in the Gloom.
