Patch: Fixing Framerate Issues

Thank you to all who tested this weekend ahead of Next Fest tomorrow. It was invaluable to get your notes & logs as we triaged some remaining issues before the demo is officially live.

Today, we pushed a minor update aimed at addressing first & foremost the degrading FPS we were seeing players experiencing.

  • Fix Framerates getting throttled during longer play sessions
  • Fixed an audio issue with Gawain's Slam attack
  • Added some colliders around the hub elevator to prevent you from falling out
  • Fixed a bug where the hammer blessing 'Top Heavy' would soft lock your game
  • Fixed the Tome perk 'Ancient Knowledge' giving far more damage than intended
  • Updated the localization files

Any and all feedback, including bug reports and stability reports are very much appreciated during this play test!

We currently have the following list of known bugs:
  • Framerate decreases after 1 or 2 hours of playtime - to mitigate this please reboot the game.
  • This demo is currently English only, with no localisation
  • You can fall around the elevator in the hub, so be careful! Rebooting the game should fix this.

New King Arthur roguelike is basically a co-op Hades set in Camelot

The influence of Hades has been felt across the spectrum of roguelike games, and new challenger Sworn is certainly no exception. Closed Playtest Details


Journey through the Wirral Forest and challenge Sir Gawain in your unique quest to reclaim a fallen Camelot. Continue your adventure to unlock and experiment with new weapons, crests, and an additional Squire.

Closed Playtest Content

  • Access to the full 1st biome of the game, Wirral Forest
  • 1 Character unlocked, with one further to be unlockable
  • 1 Weapon per character unlocked, with a further 2x unlockable per character
  • 1 Crest per character unlocked, with a further 2x unlockable per character

Closed Playtest Platform

PC (Steam) only for the Closed Playtest. Steam Deck is not supported at this stage in development.

Note: Controller is the preferred method of play, however, mouse & keyboard is supported too. Button layout in-game for controller players is built for Xbox controllers only at this stage.


How does the difficulty system work in the Closed Playtest?

In-game difficulty scales depending on your party size. Sworn will have more difficultly options at launch.
