For the player who likes to get up close and personal, you can fire-kick your enemy using Blaze, or become a living Torch by engulfing yourself in flames to deflect damage and cause pain.

The more defensive of her talent trees, Ice Mastery allows you to zone and control the enemies into the position you want them, before killing them with devastating ice projectiles.

The Ice Wall ability turns you into a frosty tactician, letting you block enemy attacks using massive walls made of sheer ice or box them in and unleash an explosive AOE to finish them off. If you intend to slow your foes, the Chill envelops you with a frozen aura that lets you keep your enemies at a distance and reposition yourself to take them down with brutal precision.

The Ice Mastery can also be used for devastating attacks, piercing foes with jagged frozen spears. Ice Shard offers just that, letting you launch death at unsuspecting foes. Frostbite, on the other hand, throws down a carpet of ice in front of you, ending in an explosive ice spike to cause devastation to the surrounding enemies.

And this is just in their most baseline form. As you upgrade your skills, they will evolve to provide more powerful or versatile uses, letting you take down your foes while also protecting yourself from harm.

It’s in situations such as this where proficiency in hand-to-hand skills can be the difference between life and death, and focusing on Combat Mastery allows for just that. Enabling you to become proficient in the use of weapons and fists alike, the mastery offers both single attack and AOE skills that turn the Berserker into a one-man army.

Heavy Strike can make quick work of single enemies, knocking both teeth and brains out. If instead, you find yourself against a group of enemies, Slam lets you hit the ground hard and generate shockwaves to smash their bones. The key to successfully mastering these skills is to let yourself get face-to-face with your enemies.

Once you start upgrading, other possibilities will open up. An attack like Tornado, which lets you spin so fast you become a blur of muscle and weapon, can be made even more effective by fusing to allow movement while the attack is in use. When you do that, the Berserker goes from being a static whirlwind to a living meat grinder plowing through enemies.
