To celebrate the fact that there are almost no bugs in the current demo version I decided to start a small giveaway for the community :)



You probably know already that I am developing this game alone in my spare time. The crucial KEY for the game success is constant and constructive feedback!

So I will giveaway 3-Keys to a final game and access to all closed alpha and beta if:

1. Until 31.05.2023
2. You donwload and play the demo
3. You make a screenshot of your settlement
4. Post feedback on Twitter, including the screenshot and the tag @thesettlings

Thank you all for following me on Steam! Your support means everything to me and keeps me motivated to create and share my work. Looking forward to sharing more with you in the future!

It has been a long journey so far, but I have enjoyed every moment of it. From the user tests to the discussions on Discord, to the ideas I could implement and share with you in the next build - this is exactly what I believe an indie dev's work should look like.

A few days ago, we reached an incredible milestone of 500 followers on Steam. This was achieved with zero budget but through sheer hard work and dedication.

This message is for the 500 followers who have not just wishlisted the game, but have also shown interest in its progress and exchange. Thank you for your support, and I am thrilled to have you all along for the ride.
I'm not exactly sure who built this lighthouse in the demo, but it was one of the first once constructed. I can promise you that there will be more exciting additions coming to The Settlings soon!



There will be big update comming next week, so stay tuned if you don't want to miss it!

I am proud to announce that a demo version ot The Settlings is now available for download via Steam!

This is just the begining of a great journey I hope to have during the development with all of you ːsteamhappyː

Hey folks!

I am happy to announce that I have achieved my development goals for the next test phase 😃



The test starts at Monday 12.12.22 and will last for at least 1 week. Everyone is welcome! Use the steam page for registration.

The main goal of the test is not to find as many bugs as possible - although I have to say that I did my best to fix as many as I could! - the main focus of the test is to validate the core mechanics of the game.

I have changed plenty of things based on your feedback from the pre-alpha test from April this year and I am loocking forward to get more from you ;)

There is one more think I want to share about the current version. There is a time limitation for 1h per run, which will not be included in the final version. I am trying to find the best way of providing demo content for future demo and steam events.

Regarding ballancning I have spent some time preparing the demo but I am complytely open for any suggestions or comments this regard.

This has been so far a quite long 10 Months journey, just to get the game to a alpha state and to a state where you can test it out and give some valuable feebdack.

Everyone can participate in the Demo. The test will last unitl Sunday 24 of April 2022. To get acces to the key you just need to join the discord and applay for one in #registration tab.
