Tormentis Crossplay with macOS

Last week we finished our final tests on macOS and are very happy that Tormentis is finally available on Apple devices and can be played together and against each other via multiplayer crossplay across multiple platforms!

At the weekend there were extensive changes and several patches in response to the new skill indicators. Some players preferred the way of playing with direct key reactions without visual representation - so we made the skill indicators optional. We redesigned the settings and key configurations and moved them to a common interface.

If there is greater interest in a Linux version of Tormentis, please give us feedback!

We are making good progress with the adventure mode. The editor had to be technically extensively rebuilt in order to make all functions and dungeon components freely available in a separate mode. We are currently working on the interfaces for starting and saving the levels - as well as a moderation environment to be able to control and release levels.

We are very happy that you are sharing so many ideas and suggestions with us in Discord. Keep it up!

  • Settings have been combined and expanded
  • Forward roll no longer has an indicator and moves in the direction of the mouse position
  • Skill indicators now remain visible when moving and can be triggered
  • If there is not enough mana, no skill indicator can be displayed
  • If there is not enough mana, no skill can be reserved
  • Skill indicators can be deactivated in the settings and will trigger as before when the button is pressed

  • the evasion skill animates more smoothly and no longer gets stuck at the end when it changes to running.

  • reward page revised and fixed a mouseover error that caused details to flicker.
  • in the last few days, server-side changes have been implemented that correct the calculation of trophies when you win

Patch V0.1.2.0: Skill Indicators

Dear players, dear community,

Today's patch V0.1.2.0 is definitely worth a bigger contribution, as it implements an internal milestone that we need for upcoming controller support and the mobile port. There were also some errors and problems with skill positioning, which we have also fixed here. All skills with an area of effect receive visual representations in order to be able to determine direction and/or position. To this end, the preparation of the following skill has been revised again so that the position of the preparation is also saved.

Deactivating traps has been completely revised and all traps now also visibly stop.

In addition, there were many requests and problems related to securing loot boxes with traps. In particular, the fact that deactivating traps was actually mandatory in some dungeons and thus blocked a skill slot bothered many players. We had already expected something like this in advance and prepared a legendary property on items that prevents you from being interrupted by damage when opening loot boxes. This patch will also include a new legendary belt that has this property: Treasure Hunter's Belt.

We are continuing to work on Adventure Mode. Unfortunately, it is much more complex than expected, especially the adjustments to the Dungeon Editor. This will take a few more weeks to ensure that it works flawlessly and does not affect the regular Dungeon Editor (for the League). We hope to have Adventure Mode ready in the next 4-6 weeks.

The promised revised League rewards will be adjusted in the next patch.

Change log version 0.1.2.0:
  • Skill indicators added for all skills that require a direction or area of effect to be used
  • Skill ranges and areas of effect of some skills adjusted
  • New legendary treasure hunter's belt
  • Trap deactivation skill completely revised and all traps now visibly stop
  • The spider coffin problem mentioned in the bug forum has been fixed and the walkable area has been adjusted so that no more inaccessible areas are created by 1 field wide areas.
  • Life bar jumps fixed for bleeding and other damage
  • Incorrect positioning of the fire wall has been fixed.
  • Cost of the 7th inventory page has been fixed
