Howdy friends,

As promised in last weeks' Buddy's Bulletin we've put together a special update for you, featuring a gift from our friend, SMii7Y!



When you next boot up Friends vs Friends you'll have a gift waiting for you from the main menu. All you have to do is claim it, then you'll be able to give Moose Salto a whole new SMii7Y themed makeover for your next match.

That's not all, though, as we've also added in a new hama chain and card back for your playing pleasure. And a couple of key fixes. Check out the changelog below.

• Added the new Smii7Y content: 1 Moose Salto skin (available as a gift in the main menu), 1 keychain & 1 card back variant!
  
• Changed how melee weapons work to avoid most of the inconsistency issues players were facing with the Katana (not effective as Titan, disproportionate range, dealing damage through solid walls...)
  
• Added a refresh time indicator on Quests & Baba's Laundromat menus
  
• Tweaked Boira 9 & Laika 3rd person animations
  
• Fixed: In Island, player can clip through the umbrella, but bullets can't pass through
  
• Fixed: In Theatre, player is pushed through the texture after placing wall on the statue
  
• Fixed: In Island, traces of the explosion turn blue from the greater distance
  
• Fixed: In the Hub, it's possible to clip through the roof of a Bus Stop
  
• Fixed: In the Hub, Very pale texture on the pavement
  
• Fixed: Z fighting in Rooftop map
  
• Fixed: The Red car in Space map is still running
  
• Fixed: There is an invisible wall in the Ice Cream Truck dispensing window
  
• Fixed: Boxes on the washing machines in Baba's Laundromat are clipping with each other

As we grow and build up Friendtown, it's important we continue to make connections that go beyond our doorstep even while we continue to develop things from the inside.

We've made friends with your friends (who also made friends with our friends and are even friends with friends of friends...still following me?)

So I guess this means we now have ... friends in common. One, in particular, has really helped shape things around here - SMii7Y. We've been so grateful for him spreading the word about Friends vs Friends and sharing his fun with the world that we decided to do something a little bit special.



When you log into Friends vs Friends next week, you'll be gifted a new skin for Moose Salto - the SMii7Y skin! No need for quests or levelling, you can just equip it and see if it makes you as good as SMii7Y. No pressure!

He's certainly left his mark on the world so be sure to tell all your friends. This is just the beginning!

Hey folks, it’s me. The Mayor of Friendtown. We have an absolute emergency on our hands! I think that I *cough cough* caught a cold of some sorts! My life is fading before my ey- oh wait, I had accidentally used Ice Block. Such an honest mistake from an honest Mayor!

I almost feared that I would have to cancel my vacation plans. What do you mean, again, don't you remember my last one got interrupted?! Moose just came back from a break on the island and they sure looked the part with a cool hat and backpack! They said it was the perfect place to go surfing, walk on the beach or contemplate your own existence. These are among my favorite hobbies and I didn't get a chance to do any of them before; I have to go back! I am the Mayor after all, so I can and I will.

Howdy Friends, welcome back to another Buddy's Bulletin!

Hope ya'll been having a blast in Friendtown and enjoying all the sights and sounds. It's our pleasure to host you, even if our walls are full of bulletholes and our treasured artifacts are worse for wear.

Jokes aside, we've got something real important to talk about this week. As we move into another month, we're going to reshape these bulletins a little bit. We'll explain more in the next section, but we think it's time to make a few changes around these parts.

[h2]Reveal of the Week[/h2]

We've got lots of things cooking in the background, including two premium expansions, lots of free updates, more maps, cards, characters, skins, and a few surprises along the way. Not to mention our release on consoles. So we're not going anywhere!

But we're not always going to be able to talk about these things on a week to week basis, I hope you understand? We'll share what we can, when we can, and it'll still be regular. In fact, next week, we've already got a little special something coming up. But that sort of links into our next point.

We've been spending a lot of time combing through your feedback, reading reports, looking at reviews, listening in on Discord, and it's become clear we need to work harder in addressing some of your concerns. So, over the next few weeks, we're going to put a slight pause on content-themed drops and instead dedicate more time to bug fixing, polishing, balancing, and reviewing certain components of the game.

This is to make sure we get it right and set Friends vs Friends up for the long term, especially when it comes to welcoming more players from other platforms. We want to be producing Buddy's Bulletins years from now, making sure to keep our community updated and invested in Friends vs Friends for a long time. To do that, we need to spend more time tweaking things in the back-end.

To help us out, if you've got a specific issue you feel needs addressing or want to see a particular feature added, drop us a comment below or keep the discussion flowing in the Steam forums. We want to hear from as many of you as possible to make sure we get this right and you have the best time hanging out with us in Friendtown.

Hey folks, it’s me. The Mayor of Friendtown.

Wow, Baba's Laundromat has had queues for days. In fact, that washing I had last week still hasn't been touched because I can't get in the door. You'd think having his silly song stuck in my head would remind me. Oh, the life of a Mayor, eh?

It truly never stops. See, I'm already working on the next exciting developments for Friendtown and can't wait to tell you all about them. It barely feels like we've slowed down since opening up and that's not changing anytime soon.

Sorry to be cryptic, but I wouldn't want to spoil any surprises. Moose would never let me hear the end of it. Just know we're all listening to your comments, questions and paying attention to you every step of the way. So keep that feedback rolling in.
