From Lex to Rex News

Your Majesties,

I would like to wish all those who have played From Lex to Rex a happy New Year. 2022 has been an important one, highlighted by the release of my first game, something that, not so far ago, wasn´t even in my list of intentions. It has probably been the most difficult creative task I´ve ever done and it has provided me with tons of knowledge and insight about this world I enjoy so much: the videogames one.

Thanks for giving it a chance. Now it´s turn to keep focused on the next project, something bigger in all aspects.

• The new patch includes better sounds and music (main hall and feast stages).
  
• Changed some dialogue lines (for better ones).
  
• That "hidden" object almost everybody complains about at the tailor´s has now a short animation to make it more visible. Don´t expect neon lights, but is there.
  

Charity: as promised I made a donation to the food bank with most of the money earnt from these two last sales.

Hi lovely Majesties,

I´m proud of the story and plot I achieved in From Lex to Rex, and it seems many of you liked it too!

While the game has been an intense grinding for me, full of ups and downs, I can say that, as a writer myself, I´ve discovered a new and exciting way to tell stories. My main focus was giving you, not only the best story, but the best old school point and click game possible, and I´m still commited to it.

During this hard task it's always great to see the support I get from you and how much you have enjoyed the idea and story of the game, that´s why I would be humbled if you would nominate From Lex to Rex on the category Outstanding Story-Rich Game.

• Willing to make From Lex to Rex a more complete and better game, I´m adding better sounds and music in order to improve it. It´s a slow revision process, so expect continuous minor patches.
  
  
• I would like to make a call for reviews. . Developing a solo indie game it´s an ardous task full of learning. Support means everything, that´s why if you consider the game gave you a moment of joy and fun or even helped you forget about daily problems, please consider leaving a simple review.
  
  
• As you may know, From Lex to Rex is about food. Like the protagonist here many people can´t access basic food, that´s why, as gratitude, next week I´ll make a donation to the charital food gathering held in my hometown.

As you all know, the Steam Next Fest October editions begins tomorrow and many demos will be streamed, including mine! I hope to see you there to play and talk about game related things.
