Tweaks:
- Heavily reduced chances that enemies will spawn inside walls in the Dairy Plant
- New entry in the Options menu "Less physics, more FPS". It's enabled by default, if you don't like it or for some reason it glitches badly on your machine, you can disable it from the Options menu from the main screen.
- Guide arrows don't jitter anymore - please enable the guides from the Pause menu if you have the Map but can't locate coffins etc.

Bugfix: some projectiles not moving when there are no enemies to target
Bugfix: Clock Lancet disappearing when moving upwards for too long
New gameplay option
Unlocked by finding the new relic in Stage 4, the new "Hurry" option in Stage Selection will simply make the timer tick twice as fast, so enemies waves will change every 30 seconds in real time instead of the usual 60.

Vampire Survivors didn't rip-off Castlevania sprites after all

PC Gamer recently spoke to Luca Galante, the sole developer behind indie hit Vampire Survivors. During the conversation I asked about a brief early controversy, which flared-up and then died-down almost as quickly: some people accused the game of going too far in its homage to Castlevania, and even that certain sprites were a straight rip-off...

Vampire Survivors creator 'didn't have a vision' when he started making the game that allowed him to quit his job

Vampire Survivors was released on December 17, 2021, and quickly became a word-of-mouth hit. Vampire Survivors should end endgame framedeath with new engine

There comes a point in a Vampire Survivors run when I know my build is good enough to go the distance, because the violence is so intense and colourful that my framerate grinds down into single digits. How to unlock secret characters in Vampire Survivors

Want to know how to unlock secret characters in Vampire Survivors? When you start your first run you only have a handful of characters and a few weapons available. However, on each playthrough, more items, weapons, and characters unlock for you to use in future attempts.

These items are vital if you wish to use Vampire Survivor weapon evolutions to maximise a weapon's damage output. The game also locks new characters behind requirements, such as leveling up your gear to a certain threshold, finding items in a level, or slaying a quota of monsters.

Some of these unlock conditions are somewhat vague, so we thought we'd list how you can get all of the Vampire Survivors characters, weapons, items, and levels. We also have a cheat code that you need to type to get another hidden vampire slayer and steps to access a secret character that requires you to tinker with the game's code.
