About the Game
The Devil Within: Satgat is a return to form for action platformers, blending traditional sidescroller action with modern combat mechanics. With a deep skill tree and techniques that can be learned through the main storyline, players will be able to learn skills that best fit their style of gameplay and string together beautiful yet devastating combos that will demolish those who oppose them.

As the Royal Guard of a fallen kingdom, Kim Rip, slash your way through a desolate world in style! As Kim Rip becomes stronger, he will learn new skills, wield different weapons, and navigate treacherous areas all in an effort to unravel the mysteries that plagues his world. Timing is key as you will need to parry enemy attacks or launch a counter-attack after dodging/dashing past enemies!
About Early Access
While most may already know, Early Access means that you can play
The Devil Within: Satgat while it is still in active development. We plan to be in Early Access for 9-12 months, adding content to the game over the course of Early Access and listening to the community for feedback/suggestions to refine the game. We believe that the game has improved tremendously since the demo due to the continued support of our community.
The initial Early Access release includes:
- 3 massive stages, all with unique enemies and bosses (not including the intro stage).
- An arsenal of skills for you to learn and weave into your combos.
- A variety of unlockables for you to find and use, ranging from weapons, costumes, and more.

Not only do we have multiple stages that are deep in both gameplay and story, but we also have refined the gameplay mechanics so that players feel accomplished pulling off the combos that are waiting to be discovered. Questions and Answers
[h3]Is The Devil Within: Satgat a metroidvania? Or... what is it?[/h3]
The Devil Within: Satgat is a 2.5 action platformer (you probably heard this before). The game has metroidvania qualities: huge maps, collectibles, and other features that we are looking to add over Early Access. However, it is
not interconnected in terms of maps and it isn't truly
non-linear in terms of advancing the story.
The game is meant to ease players into the metroidvania realm of gaming. Much like traditional platformers, the progression of the game is linear and you gain abilities to unlock portions of the map that you are on. However, the world will start to open up more as we add more stages, with back-tracking being a feature that will eventually be added into the game.
So the answer? The Devil Within: Satgat is a 2.5 action platformer with metroidvania and souls-like elements!
[h3]I played the demo - does my progress carry over?[/h3]
Because of how much the game has changed in the first stage as well as the player progression, your progress will not carry over into the Early Access version.
[h3]How many hours of gameplay can I expect from Early Access?[/h3]
In the initial version of Early Access, each stage is roughly 1.5 ~ 2 hours long, bringing it to about 4.5 ~ 6 hours. We will say that this is in the event that people clear the bosses on their 1st or 2nd try...but the boss fights are challenging enough to put in a lot of time.
That being said, the Early Access version will be updated with new stages over time, with more collectibles for players to seek out. We are excited for everyone to give it a go!

Please make sure to have your graphics card updated to the latest version as well as install any Windows updates! If the problem persists, please let us know!

When we first launched the demo, we gained a lot of valuable feedback that has refined the basic mechanics of the game. We know that going forward, community involvement is key to making The Devil Within: Satgat the best that it can possibly be. Through
