Roxy Raccoon's Pinball Panic News

Status Updates

Dear pinball fans,

It is with a heavy heart that I must say that development of the game is on temporary hiatus. I faced a major health scare earlier this week and have been in the hospital ever since. I have no estimate on when I may be getting better or when I might be released.

That being said, this game has become my greatest passion in life and I have multiple features and content in various stages in development. I by no means plan to end development of the game but things will be quiet from my end for the time being. I plan on getting back into things once I've been released.

Thanks for your understanding and stay tuned!

New Features & Player Feedback Patch

Stats:
 • Added various post game stats to the score screen:
 • Individual ball scores, Top Speed, Average Speed, Total Distance Travelled & Game time (If you have ideas for other stats, feel free to let me know).
 • Imperial & Metric measurements can be swapped from the gameplay settings menu

Multi-Screen Display:
 • Added a new multi-screen display option in the Video Settings Menu (This must be turned on before launching the table).
 • This option allows the backboard and DMD to be displayed on a second monitor

Art/Visuals:
 • The artwork on selected buttons now changes, rather than simply changing colors. This allows for better contrast.
 • Improved Sticker Quality on Targets and various props.
 • Gates/Switches now have score pop-ups.

Bug Fixes & Misc:
 • Improved level select screen navigation/controls with the gamepad.
 • Fixed a bug where focus cam could still be activated by holes even if toggled off in the options menu.
 • Fixed wall art on Hectic Highway.
 • Behind the Scenes Optimization on the following tables: Construction Chaos, Blissful Builder, Sand Sanctuary & Foolish Pharaohs.

Story Mode Hotfix

Fixed an issue where playing in Story Mode would not let you start or quit a game.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

F2P & Big Update!

New Table Select Screen
 • Overhauled the table select screen so that finding/selecting tables is much easier and faster.
 • Unowned DLC tables have been added to the table select screen but are displayed at the very end of the table list, not to interfere with owned tables.

 • Bowling Bash, Birthday Bonanza, Blissful Builder, Charming Chopper, Christmas Carnage, Construction Chaos, Crazy Carnival, Doubloon Docks, Feudal Follies, Great Gamble, Graceful Games, Practice Playground, Rickety Rapids, Silly Circus, Sly Samurai, Training Tracks

Free To Play & Upcoming Changes

Free To Play

On May 10, the game will be going free to play. The base game will become free for everyone, but DLC still cost money.
Why?
The game has evolved into something much larger than I originally planned thanks to all your support. The game was originally never going to have DLC and was meant as a one-off experience, but I am very happy with the enthusiasm some of the players have shown towards the game.

This is simply a way to reach a larger potential audience and for more people to enjoy the game.
How Does this Impact the Players?
Simply stated, you shouldn’t notice any real impact, other than hopefully more contestants on the leaderboards.

DLC will continue and pricing will NOT change. I will NOT be incorporating loot boxes, gacha mechanics, battle passes, energy systems or any of the stuff typically seen in mobile and/or other free to play games. This is simply a way to make the base game available to more players.

Upcoming Changes

Mentioned above, I will continue to make DLC for the game and support it as always. Pricing will NOT change, and I will continue to support the game as always with a mixture of free and paid content.

I don’t plan on doing weekly updates anymore, instead focusing on larger patches. I will always employ hotfixes ASAP should the need ever arise.

There will be a patch on May 10 that introduces some improvements/fixes to old tables, and I am glad to announce that we will be going to SPACE! It is something that has been highly requested, and I am always listening to feedback and suggestions.

Spread the word, share your love for pinball and please continue to enjoy the game!

Finally, here is a preview of the new table select screen (work in progress). This should make selecting tables much faster/simpler.
