Wow!! We can’t believe all the wonderful reviews and comments we’ve received from both players and critics! We’re really glad players have enjoyed stealthily sneaking past police officers and exploring the watercolour landscapes - especially the sightseeing vistas, like Snufkin fishing or looking up at the bright blue sky. We’ve received much feedback about the appreciation of those small special moments in the game, and we love reading it all.

[h2]Thank you for your feedback and reporting! A patch is in the works[/h2]

Throughout the past few days, we have identified a couple of areas for improvement and received reports on issues that we are working to resolve. We are currently working on a patch to be delivered in the near future, addressing several things:

Nintendo Switch:

• Added a Switch streamer mode
  
• Updated the game icon
  
• Updated video compression settings for Switch for smoother playback
  
• Fixed a number of minor visual glitches
  
• Fixed the issue where language select didn't work with touch
  
• Fixed a few softlock issues
  

Steam:

• Resolved a game resolution issue on PC
  
• Added windowed mode
  
• Fixed a few softlock issues

I didn't really know anything about Moomins going into adventure game Snufkin: Melody Of Moominvalley, besides that their heads always looked palatable to me - like bleached kidney beans. Plus the Moomin merch I'd seen over the years in official Moomin shops or the odd gift store was delightful, so if someone had rocked up with a pencil case adorned with Moomin heads back in school, you bet I would've been jealous.

And having finished the game, I'm unsure whether I've truly learned any more about the Moomins and their friends. But then again, I've come away thinking that it's a pleasant universe to spend a few hours in, where the wild is celebrated with rebellious song. If you're after the video game equivalent of a walk through the woods on a warm afternoon, Moominvalley is the place to wander.

The adventure begins as Snufkin arrives to Moominvalley after the long winter. He discovers it has changed - and not for the better! He finds grotesque parks, gated and patrolled, and sets on a determined mission to get rid of them. As Snufkin, you will pluck park signage, distract Police Officers, and knock over statues. And along the journey, you will also create cherished memories with critters and inhabitants in the valley - forming new friendships and delightful connections.

The official soundtrack of Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley is an atmospheric and relaxing 25-track collaboration between the composer Oda Tilset and the famous Icelandic band Sigur Rós! Inspired by stunning views of nature and Nordic landscapes, the melodies born in the hands and hearts of Sigur Rós and Tilset contribute to Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley’s enchanting appeal.

From the playful clarinets and flute that bounce off each other in the Fillyjonk’s garden to the more contemplative and spacious mood characterizing exploration in the wild country - Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley’s soundtrack is a delightful accompaniment to players’ winding journeys through the valley.

We’ve been asked a lot whether there will be a Nintendo Switch physical edition. We are planning to launch a Nintendo Switch physical edition in Japan later this year!
We are continuously investigating additional options of distributing Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley both digitally and physically. We will share news when we have them!
