Dear wanderers, we have prepared a few additional fixes to make sure any travels through Moominvalley are as smooth and enjoyable as possible. We in the development team want to thank you all so much once again for your continued support and kind words whilst restoring the valley to its natural beauty.  

Patch notes:

• The game is verified for Steam Deck!
  
• Improved performance. 
  
• Fixed the issue with Cedric being invisible. 
  
• Fixed the issue with players getting stuck on a stone with the woodies. 
  
• Fixed the issue with players getting stuck on the wrong side of the boulder. 
  
• Fixed the issue with players getting stuck behind the stone above Ninny.  
  
• Minor localization fixes.

Dear travelers,

Our wonderful adventures with Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley continue into LudoNarraCon, as part of the Official Selection, which is a digital event that takes place on May 9-13 and celebrates interesting and innovative narrative games, hosted right here on Steam!

The aim of the event is to replicate the experience players have during physical conventions but in the digital format - so we’re happy to let you know that we’re participating with the very first Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley Steam discount and a cozy stream where we’ll be sharing wholesome stories from the development of the game as well as discussing the gameplay!

The stream will be hosted by our Sr Community Manager Daria Driver who absolutely loves Moomin and has a substantial experience with the game as well as a few stories about its development, and Helen Morris who is acquainted with Moomin but hasn't had the chance to enjoy the full game yet✨

We're happy to let you know that we've released a patch to make your journeys even smoother and more enjoyable✨ See the notes below!

• Minor spoiler: Players will now be able to continue from right before the point-of-no-return when you have completed the game. This means you can now choose to explore Moominvalley as if before the end of the game
• Fixed the issue where players were unable to change their game resolution.
  
• Fixed the issue where Little My would get stuck at the entrance of a cave.
  
• Fixed the issue with the save files, where the performance of the game would significantly drop and sometimes result in a crash.
  
• Fixed the issue with dancing police officers (while we love dancing, it was not adhering to the rules the police officers are overseeing)

We’ve worked on this game for four years, and it feels indescribable to finally see everybody play in and explore the world we’ve worked hard to build. Wow!! We can’t believe all the wonderful reviews and comments we’ve received from both players and critics! We’re really glad players have enjoyed stealthily sneaking past police officers and exploring the watercolour landscapes - especially the sightseeing vistas, like Snufkin fishing or looking up at the bright blue sky. We’ve received much feedback about the appreciation of those small special moments in the game, and we love reading it all.

[h2]Thank you for your feedback and reporting! A patch is in the works[/h2]

Throughout the past few days, we have identified a couple of areas for improvement and received reports on issues that we are working to resolve. We are currently working on a patch to be delivered in the near future, addressing several things:

Nintendo Switch:

• Added a Switch streamer mode
  
• Updated the game icon
  
• Updated video compression settings for Switch for smoother playback
  
• Fixed a number of minor visual glitches
  
• Fixed the issue where language select didn't work with touch
  
• Fixed a few softlock issues
  

Steam:

• Resolved a game resolution issue on PC
  
• Added windowed mode
  
• Fixed a few softlock issues
