Along with that, some important info was left out of the patchnote. The developers took your feedback into consideration and made it possible for players to buy whole pieces of legendary gear for Act Tickets.

Albatross Heavy-Assault, Gauss Rifle, ZIVCAS M2-C, and Chitin backpack can now be purchased for 6 500 Act Tickets each.
Look up, Seekers.

Patchnote [04.06.2025]

The skies of the Zone are torn apart by the roar of military helicopters. Armed forces are gathering at the Perimeter. The ZIVCAS Corporation is once again searching for mysterious testing grounds left behind by scientists of the past. Behind the North anomaly barrier lies a power capable of pulverizing anyone who dares to uncover its secrets. Something is happening in the Zone. And it will affect everyone — whether they like it or not.

© A mad old man in the Bar that nobody's believed since the “hot July”

We bid farewell not only to the spring season but also to Act One — it was a special one for us, we'll never forget it. Act Tickets were converted into Trade coins. In memory of past seasons, all players who earned caskets have received them by mail — they are now usable as Hideout decor.

Today marks the beginning of a new stage — Act Two. And it brings not just new rewards, but a full change of rules: the Season Pass has undergone a complete overhaul, and with it, much of what players had grown used to.

Are you ready for a hot June? 🔥

Something strange is happening in the Zone

Things are getting tense. Military forces have been unusually active near the Perimeter in the South. We recommend staying alert, so you don’t miss any important information.

Season Pass: Reboot

Season Pass was originally intended as a light, optional background activity, that accompanied the main gameplay, eventually turned into the main focus of the game, overshadowing other content.

We’ve addressed long-standing issues from previous seasons and made substantial changes to the Season Pass mechanics. In general terms, the following has changed:
  • Removed Sealed Points, as they were the root of many problems.
  • Progression is once again tied to daily tasks, now more engaging and customizable. Players can choose tasks categories to fit their play style.
  • Valuable rewards have been greatly increased, making the Season Pass much more worthwhile.

Full breakdown of the changes available in a separate article.

Open world changes

To diversify gameplay and space for Season Pass daily quests, we added new events with mutants and NPCs. Now you'll have fiends, snipers, sappers, and behemoths waiting for you in the North.

In addition, the old Anomalous Installations have been reworked, and new ones have been added. Now, when you activate them, instead of the usual spirits, you will be met with more worthy opponents.

Most of the new activity is concentrated in the home territories of the northern factions — now there’s actually something to do there.

Location events that are required to complete tasks will be highlighted when the map is opened.

The following items are available in the shop:
  • Roar style for PKP Pecheneg;

  • White noise style for Hector Exoskeleton (transferable version will be released later);

  • Infrasound style for RSh-12;

Murmur of the Zone Starter Pack

The Murmur of the Zone season starter pack is now available for purchase in the in-game store.

It includes the following items:
  • 10 season levels;
  • 7 day Premium;
  • Two unique armour and weapon paints.

New Special case

Alongside the Season Pass, we’ve completely overhauled the transferable gear cases. The old gear cases have been merged into one ultimate Special Case!

You’ll be presented with three cards, each hiding a reward. After picking one, you'll see what was behind the other two — then they disappear. You can instantly claim your reward, sell it to other players for profit, or, if it’s not to your liking, reject it and get back part of the currency you spent.

Special case includes various items grouped by their rarity. Each case guarantees a standard rarity item. In addition, there’s a chance to obtain up to four bonus items of higher rarities. Ideally, you could get up to five items in total: one standard and four bonus ones — unique, rare, very rare, extremely rare.

Don’t worry if you don’t get bonus items right away: your chances of receiving one increase with each subsequent case you open, until a bonus item drops. Once that happens, the drop rate for that rarity tier resets to its base value — just like the first time you opened a case.

Special case key rewards:
  • QBU-191 rifle;
  • Albatross Interceptor;
  • Elbrus SRD;
  • SMC Container;
  • SVCh rifle;
  • VSK-94 rifle;
  • Ergonomic 9×39 magazine;
  • Ergonomic 5.45 magazine;
  • Jagdkommando knife;
  • 5.56 NATO Drum Magazine, Black;
  • 7.62 NATO PMAG Magazine, Black.

Transferable Season Pass levels

Transferable Season Pass levels have been added to the in-game shop. You can now purchase them as a gift for another player or sell them via the auction.

There are 3 available bundles:
  • 1 level — 109 SC;
  • 10 levels — 1039 SC;
  • 25 levels — 2299 SC.

Gear repair

Repair Parts have been removed from the game.

Originally posted by author
All old, sealed Parts will be compensated at a standard rate. Additionally, all players who had them will receive a small but memorable collectible item via in-game mail.

After analysing the gathered data and your feedback over the past month, we’ve decided to reduce repair costs by 20%. We understand that, even with this adjustment, the removal of Parts will still result in higher repair costs. However, this step is necessary to introduce another currency withdrawal method to help stabilize the in-game economy.

We will continue to monitor repair costs closely and appreciate your understanding.

Removing paints from gear

It is now possible to remove paint from gear.

If the paint had a buyer tag, the tag will disappear when removed.

All previously lost paints due to repainting will be compensated in the near future.

Stash mechanics changes

The stash system has been changed: now it only allows storage of barter resources for gear, excluding their large transferable variants.

This change is aimed at increasing the difficulty of extracting highly valuable items, such as artefacts, and giving more weight to surviving during runs to obtain them.

Previously, being able to store valuable items in the stash significantly simplified gameplay, drastically reducing the risk of loss and, as a result, lowering the incentive for active engagement.

Sights
  • All sights have been visually adjusted — they now take up less space on the screen.
  • Reticles have been updated: quality improved and noticeable “pixelation” removed.

    Before

    After

  • Added blur when aiming for those sights, where it was previously absent.
  • All collimator sights that did not have magnification have been given x1.25 magnification.

Music
  • Added guitar melodies for summer season.
  • New songs have been added to Grind FM radio.
  • Added new tracks by the С. У. М. Е. Р. К. И. band — exclusive acoustic lives recorded especially for STALCRAFT: X.

Other changes and fixes
  • Increased the attack distance of all melee weapons by 0.3-0.5 metres.
    Now the distances of weak, strong and fast attacks are the same.
  • Klondike exit points can now only be accessed through the Klondike itself.
  • In the Arms Race mode, the AK-103 is replaced by the AK-203.
  • Flamethrowers and frostthrowers are again available for use in session battles.
  • Updated melee weapon models: EMChes Machete and Crowbar.

  • Updated models, animations, and interaction sounds for the AN-94 Abakan and its variations.

  • Updated the Shady Vector style for TDI KRISS Vector interaction sounds.
  • Updated MK47 Mutant shot sounds.
  • You can no longer take eruption damage near the window on the second floor of the Covenant base.
  • NPCs killed at the Labyrinth location now count as part of the contract: Enemies. People in the north.
  • Anomalous Rifts north daily quests from contract provider are now also scored in Stillwaters.
  • Changed colours of chat messages to improve readability.
  • Updated paint pattern for AKM.
  • Added paint option for most sights, magazines, and side bracket with Picatinny rail and HQ ISSUE Mini Laser Sight.

Season Pass rework

Since the release of the Season Pass, its farming mechanics and ways to interact with it have undergone multiple changes. A number of poor design choices led to a situation where players felt forced into repetitive, monotonous gameplay just to reach the desired 500 level. As a result, the game began to feel more like a chore, with economic efficiency prioritized over enjoyment.

While Sealed Points could drop from a range of sources, the value of those sources varied greatly — making late-night runs to Forge-11 the obvious choice for efficient farming. No matter how many sources were added, players always gravitated toward the most efficient method, even if they were sick from farming it.

Originally posted by author
What was originally intended as a light, optional background activity, that accompanied the main gameplay, eventually turned into the main focus of the game, overshadowing other content.

The dull daily and weekly tasks, questionable economic content, and inconsistent reward progression in the Season Pass only made things worse. The system needed a redesign.
What a Season Pass should be
Before we dive into the list of changes, it’s important to clarify what we’re aiming for. What role does the Season Pass play in the game? And what should it look like in the ideal version of STALCRAFT: X?

  1. The Season Pass is an optional activity that complements the core gameplay. Players should be free to engage in their favourite activities while earning additional rewards along the way.
  2. Farming the Season Pass should be as transparent and predictable to the player as possible.
  3. Sources of Season Points should be diverse and should encourage participation in various game activities.
  4. All activities should offer comparable value in terms of economic efficiency so that players don't have to focus solely on the most profitable options.
How it used to be
And the event hasn’t even started yet…
Level gain per day
Regular players earned around 5–6 Season Pass levels per day. Those with more free time could grind out 20 or more. This led to burnout among the most active players, while others were simply unable to reach the final goal.

In this setup, the majority of players couldn’t get anywhere near the ultimate goal, while the more active ones were forced to spend days doing monotonous, exhausting work.
Tasks popularity
Previously, some daily and weekly tasks were significantly more boring and challenging than others, which put players on unequal terms. Players ignored objectives such as delivering backpacks or investigating Proto-Discharge Clusters or closing Anomalous Rifts, opting instead for simpler tasks like killing NPCs and mutants. And what about the tasks to kill mutts, behemoths or fiends, though? They were nearly impossible to complete — when was the last time you even saw a fiend or a behemoth in the North?
What has changed
Now the system is organised in such a way that most players can move steadily towards the goal without burnout, and the most active players will not be forced to grind to death.

  • Most players will be able to gain about 8 levels per day now, and the most active ones even more.
  • It's no longer possible to farm dozens of levels in a single run — Sealed Points have been removed, as they were at the root of many issues.
  • We tried to take into account the weaknesses of the old tasks — now they have become more achievable and, if possible, more interesting.
  • And if there is a task that the player feels too lazy to do, it can always be replaced. Especially since we've increased the number of task rerolls by many times.

Season Pass shouldn’t feel like a work. It's back to being what it should be — a reward for regular, diverse gameplay.
Major changes

Season Pass content changes
Season Pass/Free rewards

The farming pace of the Season Pass is now much more controlled, which allowed us to significantly increase the number of valuable rewards — for example, the amount of Advanced Spare Parts has been tripled. We’ve also added new special cases containing tradable gear, making the Season Pass far more rewarding overall.

Originally posted by author
The number of valuable rewards in Season Pass has significantly increased, including making all rewards up to level 500 bound. Transferable rewards are in repeatable positions after level 500.

You can find more details about rewards in the patchnote.

Just look at the season crate Gift of Murmur — all the junk has been removed, and valuable rewards like blueprints now drop much more frequently.

Originally posted by author
Moreover, starting this season, all players who complete the northern storyline will automatically receive 50 levels of Season Pass.
Daily task categories
Now, every day players will choose three categories of daily tasks they prefer to complete. All daily tasks are divided into the following categories:

  • Combat;
  • Science;
  • Exploration;
  • Session battles;
  • Subdivision battles.

Additionally, players who have activated Premium will gain access to an extra task category of the same name.

Each of the regular categories contains 4 assignments and the bonus category contains 3 assignments. Thus, a player can access a maximum of 15 different tasks per day.

But there is one CATCH! Each task can be completed an infinite number of times. However, its difficulty increases and the reward decreases each time the player complete the task.

Example: the first time a player completes a boar killing task, which is to kill 15 boars, and the player will receive 200 Season Pass points. The next time the player will need to kill 30 boars and the reward will be 100 points. And so on.

Originally posted by author
When all the tasks from one category are completed, an even more satisfying reward awaits the player for closing that category.
Weekly tasks removal
All the usual weekly tasks have been replaced by a bonus for completing the categories.

Each week, players can earn up to three bonus rewards:

  • For completing 3 categories;
  • For completing 9 categories;
  • For completing 15 categories.

Since a player can complete up to 3 regular categories per day (excluding the Premium category), they’ll need to finish all tasks in their chosen categories over 3 days to earn the second bonus, and over 5 days to earn the third.
Overdrive
Overdrive is a way to speed up the Season Pass by doubling the rewards of completing tasks. One overdrive allows doubling the reward for the first completion of a task within each category.

Originally posted by author
Overdrive can only be used on the first completion of a daily task. Overdrive does not work starting the second completion of the tasks.

Overdrive can be obtained from:

  • the Season Pass;
  • daily login rewards;
  • promo codes;
  • the shop.
Tradable Season Pass Levels
Tradable Season Pass levels have been added to the in-game shop. You can now purchase them as a gift for another player or sell them via the auction.

There are 3 available bundles:
  • 1 level — 109 SC;
  • 10 levels — 1039 SC;
  • 25 levels — 2299 SC.
Open world changes
By the way, to diversify gameplay and space for daily quests, we added new events with mutants and NPCs. Yeah, now you'll have fiends, snipers, sappers, and behemoths waiting for you in the North.

Most of the new activity is concentrated in the home territories of the northern factions — now there’s actually something to do there.
Our Expectations
We expect the changes to benefit gameplay and allow players to spend more time doing their favourite in-game activities. Also, the SP levelling process will become more transparent and predictable, making it easier and more convenient for players to make long-term plans for their character's development.

We'll be monitoring feedback from players and bringing the system up to speed — so feel free to express your opinion on the official resources.
