Patchnote [16.04.2025]
Back to the Inside out season event
The Back to the Inside Out season event is a time-limited PvE mode designed to help players earn points for the Season pass.

Each match lasts 30 minutes, and the goal is to collect Onyx, which can then be converted into Season pass points at a 10 to 1 ratio.

So, if a player extracts 10,000 Onyx, they’ll receive 1,000 Season pass points.

At the moment, only the regular mode is available.
How to enter the Inside Out?
While in a safe zone, a player can start a match at any time via the Spring Season menu — go to the “Event” tab and hit the “Play” button.

Before each match, players choose between three locations, each with its own difficulty level.

After every eruption, the set of available locations is updated.
Choosing difficulty
Difficulty affects several key aspects of the run:

Onyx multiplier;
Intensity of passive distortion;
NPC and mutant balance;
Amount of Onyx gained from farming;
Boss fight stages;
Rewards found in Inside Out safes;
Quality of Inside Out artefacts;
Amount of stabilized Amalgam needed to exit the Inside Out.

Difficulty also affects the maximum number of Season pass points that can be earned per match:

For easy difficulty level — 2000 Season pass points per match;
For medium difficulty level — 3000 Season pass points per match;
For hard difficulty level — 4000 Season pass points per match.
Which locations are available?
Currently, players can choose from the following locations:

Kolos Agrocomplex;
Black Willows;
Roadside;
Forge-11;
Stillwaters.

During the season event, the number of available locations will increase to ten.
Distortion
Distortion is a unique infestation effect found in the Inside Out world. It accumulates in the following ways:

Passively, while staying in a location. It scales with the match’s difficulty level;
By taking damage from NPCs and mutants.

If a player accumulates 1,000 units of distortion, they will die.

To reduce distortion, players must either collect Memoria Fruits scattered around the ground or purchase consumables that lower distortion from the Hub.
Onyx multiplier
In the top-right corner of the screen, players can see various values: match time, total Onyx earned, and the current Onyx multiplier.

The Onyx multiplier depends on:

The selected difficulty level;
The amount of Onyx the player is currently carrying.

The more Onyx you carry, the higher is the multiplier — meaning you earn Onyx faster.

However, the trade-off is that you also take on more distortion from NPC and mutant damage as the multiplier increases.
The Hub
Items and consumables purchased from the Hub cannot be taken out of the Inside Out.

The Hub is a local shop within the Inside Out, where players can purchase both standard consumables and unique items related to the distortion.

These consumables help players reduce distortion or even respawn and continue their journey within the Inside Out.
Phantom Melody
If a player purchases the Phantom Melody, upon death or reaching the maximum level of distortion, they will transform into a Phantom.

To escape the Phantom state, the player must complete a special challenge and, within a limited time, reach the Altar of Cleansing.

Upon successful completion, the player will revert to their human form.
Stabilization
If a player accumulates an excess of stabilized Amalgam, they will not be able to take it into the open world.

There is a group of items that require stabilization:

Amalgam;
Inside Out artefacts;
Some items found in Inside Out safes.

To extract these items from the Inside Out, players must stabilize them.

Stabilization becomes available after completing the Stabilization installation event.

Once the event is completed, players can use a special sphere to stabilize the required items in exchange for Onyx.
Boss
The Inside Out features a unique boss with distinct attacks and multiple combat phases.

These bosses are designed for team play and are separate from the usual Season pass point grind. Defeating them rewards players not only with unstabilized Amalgam, but also with a key to the Inside Out safes.
Inside Out safes
After clearing a boss, players receive a safe key.

Inside each safe, you can find:

Onyx;
Unstabilized Amalgam;
Two unstabilized Forgotten supplies crates;
Two Memoria Extracts.

Depending on the match difficulty, you may also find:

Two unstabilized units of standard parts and tools;
Two unstabilized units of advanced parts and tools;

Players can open up to six safes per eruption — two safes per difficulty level across three available tiers.
Inside Out artefacts
After each eruption, unique artefacts are born within the Inside Out. Their properties are significantly more powerful than their regular counterparts — but at a cost: they negatively affect other attributes of the bearer.

The Inside Out introduces ten new exclusive artefacts that can only be found within its depths.
Burnt Onyx
The player may use 150 units of Burnt Onyx as a first aid kit.

You can receive Burnt Onyx in the following ways:

When stabilizing items;
Buy in the Hub with Onyx.
Exit the Inside Out
Depending on the selected difficulty, different amounts of stabilized Amalgam are required for exit.
Easy — 8 stabilized Amalgam;
Medium — 6 stabilized Amalgam;
Hard — 4 stabilized Amalgam.

Upon exiting the Inside Out:

All earned Onyx is converted into Season pass points at a 10 to 1 ratio;
All stabilized items are transferred to the player’s inventory;
All unstabilized items and Inside Out consumables are lost.
Third-person view
While in the Inside Out, the player can press the F5 button and play in third-person view.
Divided quest line
A stalker known as Mockingbird is in serious trouble. It seems that on his last raid into the Inside Out, he lost… himself. Try to save Mockingbird!

The quest is only available during the Back to the Inside Out season event.
Season pass

Added reward for 1000 level of Season pass.
Upon reaching level 1000, the player will receive a Model No. 47 style and a Deconstructor motif that can be worn on the MK47 Mutant.

The player can customise the weapon at their discretion by wearing either the style together with the motif, or by wearing only the Model No. 47 style.

More details on the mechanics of using both the style and motif at the same time will be described below.
Season challenges
With the upcoming Inside Out, special season challenges of varying difficulty have been added to the game. Can you complete them all?
Special offers

Back to the Inside Out starter pack №1
The first Back to the Inside Out season pack has been added to the game and includes the following items:

50,000 seasonal points;
100 Forgotten supplies crates;
Woobaga charms.
New Back to the Inside Out motifs
New motifs available for purchase:

The Inside Out imprint motif for the Saturn jumpsuit. The motif is compatible with both the standard version of the suit and the Liquidator style.

The Break-through motif for the VSS-M Vintorez sniper rifle. The motif is compatible with both the standard version of the weapon and the Vint style.
Last spring styles
Last year's spring styles are available in the shop with a special discount:

The Wisest for Saturn jumpsuit;
Lizardbane for Saiga-12 shotgun;
Perun's Wisdom for OTs-33 Pernach pistol.
Separation of styles and motifs
Boxes for styles and motifs in the equipment customisation window have been separated.

More motifs compatible with different styles will be added to the game in the future to allow the player to dive deeper into customising their character.
Interface update

Gear and artefact upgrade interfaces
The interfaces and design of the following entities have been updated:

Gear repair.
Gear upgrading;
Artefact charge;

Consumable item windows have been added to all of these interfaces.
Changes in interface mechanics
You can now use these windows to select items directly from your personal storage, without moving the necessary items to your inventory.

It is also possible to choose which consumables to use, either personal consumables only or transferable with personal ones.

Added the ability to repair all gear equipped on a player without having to move each item to a repair slot of the interface.

Added a pop-up maximum durability upgrade block to the gear upgrading interface. This block appears instead of consumable slots if there is not enough maximum durability to upgrade gear.

The mechanics of artefact overcharge and maximum charge recovery have changed slightly in the artefact charge interface.

Now if you overcharge an artefact with reagent in a slot, the upgrade chance and cost will be calculated as if the artefact has 100% max charge, meaning the player will now use the reagent to its full potential.

Removed the ability to increase the maximum durability of an artefact with the same artefact, due to the unpopularity of the method and various technical problems.
Switch to the player profile
Added the ability to quickly move directly to the player's profile when clicking on the left side of the block.
Rework of the artefact Klondike
It was decided to reconsider the concept of Klondike, therefore the following changes are made:

The overall amount of artefacts spawning in Labyrinth has been increased, and the minimum quality for artefacts in Klondike has been raised to unusual.
Within each Klondike, a special infestation is placed that will force you to manage your time wisely while exploring.

The Zone respects courage, but try not to waste any time when you bust into the treasure trove of artefacts.

How do you deal with scammers?

In STALCRAFT: X even the most experienced loners sometimes face the need to interact with other players, especially when the chat flows with luring trade offers. Our EXBO Security Department has collected the most common ways of in-game deceit so that you can familiarize yourself with them and secure your virtual property.

We also recommend reading the article on accounts and their security.
Table of Contents

Exchange window manipulation
Quite often you may encounter players who will offer to exchange goods with you for a good price and then add on some extra stuff during the trade, while also removing one last zero from the amount they are supposed to pay.

The same goes for any items (especially artifacts), not only funds.

Imagine yourself buying a rare Shard. A player responds with an offer to sell, after which they insta-replace a Shard of rare quality with an ordinary one. Or they may attempt to sell those Perun boxes in quantities exceeding 100, replacing one of the stacks”.

Do not let the scammer tempt you to rush and accept the offer, as changing even a slight detail of the trade will trace back to the “Offer” phase. Always verify the items and the amount of money in the trade window, and count up the right amount, even if it requires some time.

Scammers often pretend that the exchange window freezes at the last seconds and cancel the transaction several times. This can happen even to an honest player, but you should still be extremely careful at this point. Especially if later on, the player tries to force an exchange via courier or asks you to give the item to them, promising to pay later.

Do not agree to conduct an exchange through the mail if the exchange does not “work”. Do not rush to agree to the exchange until you are sure that everything is working correctly, and you are definitely not being scammed.

If you have problems with the exchange window or other elements of the game, contact our Support team.
Lotteries and giveaways
Players sometimes can present themselves as famous YouTubers or Twitch streamers, offering to participate in an auction lot of a specific valuable item, claiming that he is a public person. Though, usually the scammer tries to steal money out of your pocket pursuing you in transferring funds through the mail, claiming that your bet will be the first and most likely winning one.

Messages containing something along the lines of “Give me 1 mil, I'll give you 2 mil back!” also fall under this category.

The game's auction guarantees maximum security in obtaining the right item above anything else.
Third-party artifact rerolls
It is not always possible for players to obtain a changing serum or reset essence, and as a result, some may resort to this method of artifact rollover.

Typically, the deceiver says that he has made rerolls more than once and can be trustworthy, but all of a sudden he does not have money for a deposit for the artifact. Some players may request that you change their artifact's abilities, and will ask for a deposit equal to the value of the item at auction.

It is possible that the player will be offered a similar item at an inflated price by another character, and an inexperienced player may purchase it without realizing it is a scam.
Selling promo codes
Promo codes are often publicly available and timed to various events, or prepared as compensation for technical difficulties.

Make sure not to fall under a common scammer trying to trade a promocode for in-game currency.
More “profitable” exchanges
More experienced scammers use the best of their deductive abilities to spam messages in the chat, containing “I will exchange my Memento Mori charm for legendary Wolf Tears!”, or similar. An inexperienced player will proceed to the auction, check the price, and see suspiciously favourable lots with less price than the Charm itself.

Once the victim purchases the lot, they will be ignored in further discussions with the scammer. Whereas the scammer, rubbing his hands together, has already entered the alt character to take the money earned on you.
Deal guarantor
Whether trading through a courier or an exchange window, you may be asked to conduct the transaction through a so-called “guarantor”. This is a third party in the transaction that supposedly guarantees security for both buyer and seller. In reality, this is an illusion of security that only works for the fraudster. Especially if a Telegram bot is offered as a guarantor, this is a red flag signalling an attempt to scam.
Purchasing items via courier
In search of a good deal, you may finally come across an offer you like the most. The trader, experiencing some technical problems, claiming they are either in another location, or the money is on another character, which is also in another location. As a result, you receive an offer to make a sale or purchase by mail.

Do not get caught off guard now! As even though you will receive an email containing “Attachment: 9999”, the attachment itself will be written as a separate text message. You will not receive any in-game goods or funds as the scammer tries to confuse you making fake text messages look like certified attachment items.
Account Sharing
It's been a long day of searching for a good offer for your Memento Mori charm and a scammer offers you an account exchange under a diverse variety of benefits: to play in cool gear, participate in clan wars, or “assist with character progression”, deleting all your hard ground progress in one click.

Never, under any circumstances, give access to your personal data!

In any case in which you willingly give access to another person violates the terms of EXBO's licence agreement (c 4.1.2). In case of violating the clause, you will be denied account recovery in case of loss of access to it!
Giveaways on streaming services
Some streamers hold pseudo-giveaways with a participation fee and encourage everyone to spread the link to the stream. Once they have collected fees, either the winnings go to a fake person who shares with the streamer, or the stream ends and the scammer disappears with the collected valuables.

Even if the first few giveaways were true, it is just a bait to collect more valuables on the next one and run away.

Such streams tend to have few viewers and subscribers, but that doesn't mean that streams with a larger audience can't turn out to be scams. Do not participate in such giveaways to avoid being scammed by this scheme.
Checking before joining a clan
When joining a clan, you may be asked to take a cheat check. To do this, you will be asked to download a file or go to a mirror site and follow the instructions of a scammer from the clan. As a result of such actions you may have your account stolen. This should never be done under any circumstances.

In any situation where you are asked to download third-party files or go to the site, you are most likely trying to scam. Even if the resource looks very similar to the official website of a game or company, always check the address carefully. All official EXBO resources will be listed at the end of this article.
Windows Command Prompt
When joining a subdivision, communicating or any other interaction, an intruder may ask you to open the Windows command prompt and enter commands that they tell you to. This should never be done! Otherwise, you risk not only losing your STALCRAFT: X account, but also other personal information

And once again we remind you. Never under any circumstances give access to your account!
Where can I find an official company resources list?
A list of valuable recourses:
Remember that it is firstly your responsibility to ensure the protection of your values, and in most cases, scammers rely on your trust and lack of attention to carry out their schemes.

We hope this article will reach out well and keep you safe from those pesky scammers!

With regard to you,
EXBO Security Department
