[h2]Churro Express minigame[/h2]
Awan, the Ank, has come to Orilla Town to set up his chocolate & churro business.



He wants to try an innovative home delivery service, but he needs someone who can do it at the right time so that the chocolate doesn't get cold.

In this minigame you will have to complete 7 circuits scattered all over The Island of the Winds in a given time to demonstrate your skills with the magic broom. Have you mastered the twists and turns and the air currents?



Churro Express minigame is unlocked after the delivery of the drone invoice package (Andros and twins) and completing it successfully will give you the Mika Churrera skin and the keychain of the toy.



Note: for those of you who have played previous Chibig adventures, such as Summer in Mara, yes! Awan appears in other games.

[h2]Save the Kitties minigame[/h2]
Kitty and cute animal lovers, we need you!

5 kittens have come to Orilla Town for shelter, but they are very hungry — could you feed them (please say yes)?



Collect the cans of food that you can get at the Amazing Deliveries office and find each kitten to feed them.

This mini-game will be available after completing Act 3.

[h2]The Pet Companion[/h2]
After completing the special training that Miss Olagari had prepared for you, many things have changed.



One of the first rewards you have earned is the Companion, Edgar The Crow, who will now fly with you every time you get on your broom.

Note: you must be equipped with the Raven keychain for Edgar to appear.

[h2]New cosmetics and achievements[/h2]
This First Free Content Patch also includes 2 new outfits: Churrera and Magical Girl and 4 new keychains to the marketplace: cat, crow, star and toy.



The Napopo statues and coins will be readjusted for you to purchase them successfully, no worries!

Also , related to the new minigames, there are 2 new achievements: one for the Churro Express and other for the Save the Kittens - you will have to fly around the magical Island of the Winds again if you want to get the 100%!


[h3]Now What?[/h3]
Well, there are still some languages to be added and the development of the Second Content Patch has already started.

In addition, since launch we have been able to fix and improve many other aspects of the game, in part, thanks to your feedback here and on Discord. We hope we can continue to count on your support to keep doing so in the coming months.

There's a new small patch fixing and improving the performance and experience of Mika and the Witch's Mountain.

This time, it only applies to Steam. Here are the Patch Notes:

• Fixed various occlusion culling artifacts across the entire island.
  

[h3]FUNCTIONALITY[/h3]

• Implemented keyboard rebinding settings.
  
• Extended settings in main menu to include all in-game options.
  
• Added in-game language selector.
  
• Divided all settings in four main tabs (Display, Graphics, Controls and Audio)
  
• Fixed a bug that caused Napopos (Napopo statues) to appear incorrectly in the map.

• Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash in certain cases.

• Revised various spelling errors.

• Achievements did not unlock properly sometimes in Steam Deck.
  
• Setting SSAO to high quality could sometimes provoke the static objects of the world to stop being rendered.
  

NINTENDO SWITCH

• After the last patch, some users reported that catapults previously unlocked had stopped appearing in the world although the orb was placed on them.
  
• After the last patch, some users reported that outfits and other collectables previously unlocked were not displayed in the inventory.
  

BOTH PLATFORMS

• Signs threw an error every time they were read by the user. This was related to a bug that provoked some tutorials to display repeatedly instead of just once.

• Fixed a texture loading issue that caused the game to crash sporadically.

PC

• Extended graphics settings with a new preset for maximum quality.
  
• Improved SSAO quality in High mode.
  

NINTENDO SWITCH

• Improved lighting effects.
  
• Improved framerate stability.
  
• Improved image quality in both docked and handheld modes.
  

Also note the Marketplace (Edgar’s The Crow Shop) changes their location! Now is more visible, but still in Windy Meadows, for you to make your shopping to get the outfits, trails and charms ✨

Hello everyone!

Almost a week after the official Early Access release (thank you so much for your support in all possible ways!) and here we are with some news and info hopefully answering your most frequent questions.

[h3]Steam Deck Verified[/h3]

Woohoo! Some of you already confirmed that Mika and the Witch’s Mountain runs smoothly on Steam Deck, but now it's official 😀



This is amazing news for us, as we know Mika is a very “portable game” to play while relaxing on the couch or bed, even to liven a trip up!

[h3]Known issues, Work in Progress and Suggestions[/h3]

After the last patch to fix, in addition to other minor issues, the “airplane bug”, we have detected new ones:

• Napopos tutorials popping up more than once.
  
• Multiple achievements do not unlock.
  

We are aware and currently working to fix it in a new patch as soon as possible.



[h3]Community feedback and suggestions[/h3]
We’re happy to have launched the game in Early Access because in just one week we have been able to collect a lot of valuable suggestions that we will value to incorporate in the coming months.

Some of the most repeated suggestions that we're considering implementing:

• Open/close Option and Deliver Card Menu with one button.
  
• Minimap.
  
• Add a Tutorial section to view again the tutorial messages.
  
• Inverting camera X axis option in menu
