Game Guide

Language support update planned

In an earlier contact we mentioned that we have plans to add more language support to the game.

Adding a language to the game is not a simple project: on the development side the text is often scattered in hundreds of files in different formats, mixed with the code. So stuffing these files into translation software or handing them all over to translators is obviously not a reasonable solution (Raw files, please - Sean on his first day at work, receive a Google translated game text from teammates), especially since these files may contain a lot of outdated content (Don't delete anything you can't use - summary of Sean's first week of work, result in 12 error reports). The finished translated text also needs to be adapted to the UI, icons, and animations programmers work in a result-oriented way, so don't follow the result and common sense to deduce the logic - Sean's first week summary, turn half of the UI into garbled code). Therefore, a thorough planning and systematic organization is necessary before starting a new language support project.

We will divide our update plan into several stages
1. Game terms and mechanisms
In the first stage, we will provide language support for game terms and mechanisms, including cards, skills, specialties and so on. These contents are the most helpful to players, and have been compiled and released as game guides.
2. Events
In the future event release, we will add new language support
3. Add language support to the game
The content in the previous stage will be released outside the game. At this stage, we will provide in-game language support.

4. UI
The UI text is the least difficult to translate, but given that the UI text is embedded in multiple files in different formats and is not very difficult for most players to learn, it is a low priority
5. Pop up window and tips
