Patch 1.0.8

A tiny patch to address a couple of uncommon stability issues:

Stability
  • Fixed crash issue when disabling SimSpeed mods and speed set to value outside default bounds
  • Fixed crash issue if Replay folder cannot be created
UI
  • Use Level Title in replay filename
Localization
  • Fixed issue with two vehicles being named the same in Japanese (Monster Truck and Container Truck)

A small patch to address some rare stability issues, and fix a few bugs.
A larger patch with mod hooks and gallery updates is coming soon.

Stability
  • Fixed some rare crash issues
Sandbox
  • Fixed issue with customized Motor Acceleration Time not loading
  • Fixed issue with water line not updating when water height changed
  • Fixed issue with water line not showing hover/selection color
  • Added ability to change water height by dragging water tooltip
  • Fixed issue with terrain outlines changing when changing themes
  • Fixed issue switching vehicles in Spanish version (due to duplicated name for Monster Truck and Monster Flipper)
UI
  • Treat all split joints as 3-way split joints when 3-way split joints are enabled
Levels
  • Fixed Desert Springs main menu level that was breaking

  • Fixed bug with water line drawing in Build Mode when level has no water
Terrain
  • Fixed Pyramids and Toxic terrain being slightly too tall
  • Fixed z-fighting issues with placeable terrain
  • Fixed incorrect size for Twisted Turnpike placeable terrain
Other
  • Fixed issue with flag becoming disconnected from pole when height changed at an angle
  • Fixed translation of Chopper (motorcycle) for all languages
  • Added export_bridge console command to export slot file from Sandbox

A small patch to address a couple of critical issues that have been found.

Critical Fix
  • Fixed problems with foundations connecting/disconnecting to joints
  • Fixed first tutorial soft lock (trying to draw with wood instead of road)
Levels
  • Fixed anchor that started as a split anchor in TT-09 (Fetch Quest)
  • Fixed floating decor in TT-12 (Transfer of Power)
  • Fixed decor rock missing in Build Mode in SC-02 (Double Back)
UI
  • Added Twitch CTA (Call To Action) on Main Menu if streaming
Other
  • Cap stress at 99.99% if no breaks
  • Load profile and progress backup files if load fails

We were going to wait until Monday for this patch, but the optimizations are so significant we are compelled to release it early!

Performance:
  • GPU optimizations
  • Reduced memory usage
Workshop:
  • Added "Subscribed Levels" tab in Workshop
  • Added Play button to Workshop Thumbnails for subscribed levels
  • Added option to create a new workshop item when re-uploading an existing level or mod
  • Default to "Most Liked" for sort order
  • Persist sort order across game sessions
  • Fixed issue long Description text getting cut off for Workshop items
  • Added scrolling to Description box for Workshop items
  • Renamed "Active Mods" to "Subscribed Mods"
Levels:
  • Fixed decor rock missing in RMT-12 (Scaled Up)
  • Fixed issue with being able to create split joints in RMT-12 (Scaled Up)
Other:
  • Fixed issue with Pirate Ship colliding with bridges too early
