On October 20th 2022, we released The Jackbox Party Pack 9. On November 17th 2022, we pushed out a patch to your copy right here on Steam. If you purchased The Jackbox Party Pack 9 through our website or on Steam, make sure to update to the latest version to receive the following updates:

This will provide all players with an option in the settings menu to play every game in the pack in English, French, German, Italian, Latin American Spanish or Castilian Spanish.

The Jackbox Party Pack 9 contains 5 new games to liven up your next game night:

Fibbage 4 (2-8 players) - The hilarious bluffing party game returns with an all-new Final Fibbage, video questions, fan-submitted questions, and Fibbage Enough About You mode! It’s a game so beloved that we decided to slap a 4 on it.

Quixort (1-10 players) - In this trivia sorting factory, work with your team to sort falling answers into their proper order before they hit the floor! Or, play the single-player mode and see how many blocks you can sort before topping out. It’s as easy as A, C, B!

Junktopia (3-8 players) - A strange wizard has turned you into a frog! Create hilarious backstories for weird objects and then get them appraised. The player with the most valuable items becomes human again!

Nonsensory (3-8 players) - Professor Nanners is here to test your NSP (Nonsensory Perception) in this drawing, writing, and guessing game! How close can you get to guessing where another player’s prompt ranks on the silliest of scales?

We’re celebrating Party Pack 9 release day by hosting a marathon stream!

During this marathon livestream, you can expect to meet several members of our team. We’ll start the day with a cozy draw-along featuring artists from the Jackbox Games staff at 10 AM CT.

At 11 AM CT, we’ll transition into hour-long blocks highlighting each of the five games in The Jackbox Party Pack 9, starting with Nonsensory. Jackbox team members will play the new games and invite you to join the game audience and influence outcomes (or perhaps even play the game yourself)! This time block will also provide you with the opportunity to ask questions about creating party games. Start thinking about what you might want to ask the Jackbox Games team now, and be ready to send those questions in the stream chat.

We’ll end our block of individual game features with Roomerang. The Roomerang team will be streaming their final episode of Inside the Box at 3:30 PM CT.

Starting around 4:30 PM CT, we’ll see how many members of the Jackbox Games team can fit inside our streaming room to answer questions and wrap up with some final thoughts.

For the first time ever, Jackbox Games will be participating in Steam Next Fest!

About Steam Next Fest

Steam Next Fest is a multiday celebration where Steam users can try out game demos, chat with developers, watch livestreams, and learn more about The Jackbox Party Pack 9 ahead of its release on Thursday, October 20th.

The fest begins on Monday, October 3rd at 10 AM PT and ends on Monday, October 10th at 10 AM PT. During this window of time, you’ll be able to download The Jackbox Party Pack 9 demo from the Steam store page and try out abbreviated rounds from three of the new games in the pack. Once the fest ends, the demo will no longer be available to be downloaded!

This is the perfect chance to get a taste of The Jackbox Party Pack 9 before you start planning your Halloween hangouts and holiday parties.

In This Demo

The Next Fest demo will contain one round of three games in The Jackbox Party Pack 9: Nonsensory, Quixort, and Junktopia.

Note: If you play more than that round, you’ll start to see repeated content! Fibbage 4 and Roomerang are NOT included in this demo and will be locked from play in the game’s lobby.

After you try out the game, you’ll be able to pre-order The Jackbox Party Pack 9 for 10% off or add it to your Steam wishlist so you don’t miss alerts when the game is released or on sale in the future. The entire Pack will be available for play on October 20th.
