Dear Gordy’s Diary, it's already June!

Seriously, where is the year going?! We had such a busy month in May, Gordy forgot to update her diary!

You might have seen, we were a part of LudoNarraCon last month! We streamed some gameplay with commentary from our dev team, sharing some behind the scenes stories about how the game is made.

In a few day, on June 13, Dead Pets Unleashed will be featured in the Dames 4 Games showcase, with a brand new trailer! You can catch Dames 4 Games at 1pm PST, June 13th, streaming on the Guerrilla Collective Twitch and YouTube channel.

We have a tiny little teaser to share with you from the new trailer, you'll never guess what this minigame could be 🤭🤭

Dead Pets Unleashed is exhibiting at LudoNarraCon from May 4 - 8!

LudoNarraCon is a digital convention hosted on Steam celebrating narrative games and the people who make them hosted entirely on Steam, and presented by indie narrative publisher, Fellow Traveller.

As a part of the event, we'll be hosting a Gameplay Stream with Dev Commentary, streamed right here on our Steam page! The Steam will be running on loop throughout the whole event, and runs for just under and hour, so you'll have plenty of chances to catch it!

Hello and welcome to the first installment of Gordy’s Diary!

We’re here to overshare all of Gordy’s secrets, along with giving you some updates on how Dead Pets Unleashed’s development is going!


You know who totally deserves her own talk show? You guessed it!

The dev team have been working hard on the game, (but not too hard - Triple Topping are a non-crunch studio!) and while we’re still a way off from any big announcements for you, we’re super happy with the progress we’ve been making, and how the game is coming together.

The script of the game is nearly complete, with our writers working on the final episode at the moment! How will it end? We sure hope they know!

In more important, Gordy-related news, we’re hugely excited to share that our 30 year old protagonist went to the dentist for the first time in YEARS. Like, too many years. It went about as well as you’d expect, and she was in a lot of pain afterwards, but hey, at least she still has teeth! Consider this your reminder that you should go to the dentist once a year. Please don’t be like Gordy.

Grab your bass and get ready for band practice, we have more Dead Pets Unleashed out now on Steam! 

Last week we were featured in the Day of the Devs showcase and teased some new footage from Episode 2 of the game. Since we teased Episode 2... We've just released it into the demo on Steam as a part of the Day of the Devs In-Person Celebration! 

That's right, there's now a whole new episode of Dead Pets Unleashed in the demo that you can play for free right now! 

This is the only new content update that will be coming to the demo, so there won't be any more episodes to play prior to the full release of the game after this! 

We decided to release Episode 2 early as a part of our demo, since it gets further into the story, and gives you a deeper dive into what to expect in the full game.



If you're not already familiar, Dead Pets Unleashed is a feminist, narrative, slice of life, and management-lite game about a struggling punk rock band, giving it their last chance for success before they give up on the dream. 

Content Warning: Please be aware, Dead Pets Unleashed contains a major storyline relating to sexual assault and harassment.

There is an implied sexual assault that occurs towards the end of Episode 2 of the demo. There is a content warning in-game before the scene takes place, and you'll have the choice to skip over the specific scene if you choose.
