The first major update for
Faye Falling is out now.
V1.1 features a
detailed polish pass across the entire game, with lots of cool tweaks, adjustments and fixes.

[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
- Fixed arrows not firing when off screen during the Target Trial
- Fixed the footstep sound not always setting to grass in the note page rooms
- Fixed a visual bug with the wind
- Fixed the status bar closing for a moment when healing in the overworld
- Fixed flag particles being the wrong color on Final Peak
- Fixed Soul Surge not penetrating blocking spells
- Fixed overlapping heal/save sound on respawn
- Fixed the Vampiric Hex spell casting game being a bit inaccurate
- Can no longer pause when leaping down a small wall
[h3]QOL[/h3]
- Added six new save points (2 to the Desert, 3 to the Cavern, and 1 to the Sky.)
- Redesigned part of the "Stairs" area in the Cavern clearer, so it's easier to traverse
- Added a resolution/performance tip on the Settings window
- Increased the max resolution by 1 scale
- Made some overworld elements, such as the dark crystals and moving pillars, clearer (especially at the start of the game)
- Slight enemy stat balance adjustments in Chapter 3 and 5 for shorter battles
- Made it easier to run from battles after less attempts
- Added a Spirit Guide right before the final boss to give some final tips

- Small adjustments to the writing of Ending 2, 3 and 4 to make them more unique and better reflect the themes of the game
- Fixed some terms not being spelt in the American form
- Fixed an extra syllable in one of the hidden haiku rooms
- Fixed "uniform" typo
- The Shadow Ring now has a clearer description
- Corrected a Soul Guild Spirit saying Soulweaves does "80 power" instead of "16 power"
[h3]Game Over Screen[/h3]
- Changed "Continue" to "Reload Last Save"
- It now explains you'll be fully healed upon respawn + encourages you to not give up
- Exiting the game now fades out first
[h3]Audio[/h3]
- Arrow hitting sounds now adjust their volume based on distance
- The Puzzle Success sound now plays after finishing all puzzles
[h3]Visuals[/h3]
- Improved the cloud background sprites in the Sky area
- The Player character in both ending silhouttes now reflects their halo or horns
- The dark endings' credits background is now red
- The credits border is now black
[h3]Misc[/h3]
- In the ending battle sequence Melee attacks now always miss + disabled Limit Breaks
- The 3rd Numina rotates slower as they fade
- Added particles to fading lost spirits and dark spritits
- Lots of the Steam library and store graphics have been made higher resolution
- Other small tweaks and adjustments
I'll be keeping an eye out for any bugs that pop up, so make sure to report any you find over on the
community forums. I'm really excited to start getting the game in front of as many people as I can.
