In this update, we've introduced several fixes and enhancements to improve your gameplay experience. Here’s what’s new:

[h3]Optimizations[/h3]

• Fixed an issue where winning the Chenghuang Trial did not grant skills and caused the quest to disappear. Players who encountered this issue can simply move away from the Chenghuang Statue and return to retry the challenge;
  
• Resolved a bug where opening the Anniversary Gift Pack could cause a critical strike anomaly;

The Wandering Sword original soundtrack has been updated with new tracks from The Echoes of Ash and Dust update! Players who are interested can check it out and enjoy the new tracks!

We have also implemented several fixes and optimizations in this update. Here are the details:

[h3]New Features[/h3]

• Added a One-Tap Meridian Breakthrough function: When enough points are available, you can now fully upgrade any meridian by selecting an acupoint and tapping the One-Tap Breakthrough button to the left of the original breakthrough button;
  
• Added recovery elixirs: The Wudang Sect disciple Yuan Ji, located to the right of Dao Xuan, now sells three types of elixirs – Primordial Elixir, Celestial Elixir, and Supreme Yin-Yang Elixir; these elixirs restore minor, major, or all Qi and True Qi, respectively;
  
• Added a new setting option allowing players to decide whether the Overcomer and Apex Challenger difficulty expansions apply in ally-only battles;
  
• Added a new lightness skill to the Tianji Legacy: Star-Treading Steps;
  

[h3]Fixes and Optimizations[/h3]

• Fixed missing collision in Buddha’s Hollow;
  
• Enhanced the skill Xuanxu Saberplay, with slightly improved effects;
  
• Fixed an issue with the quest "Challenge Chenghuang Illusion and Comprehend Evergreen Vitality Mastery," which remained marked as incomplete after the challenge was completed;
  
• Unified skill and buff descriptions for "critical resistance," replacing all instances of "anti-critical" or similar terms with Critical Resistance;
  
• Modified the first battle in the main storyline journey to Xuanhuo Cult to end after 5 turns;
  
• Optimized the chest placement near the suspension bridge on Mount Windless to prevent character blockage;
  
• Adjusted the side quest "Yuanqi of Wudang" to be unclaimable after entering the Echoes of Dust main storyline;
  
• Added a prompt during Echoes of Dust storyline entry, preventing teammates from leaving or joining the team;
  
• Fixed a bug where repeatedly entering the grove could trigger the Yao Ji CG encounter;
  
• Adjusted the unlocking condition for Jiang Xiaotong in the companion guide. Now, visiting Jiang Xiaotong will also unlock her profile;
  
• Resolved an issue in the old main storyline where killing Mo Wen solo would trigger the companion ending repeatedly;
  
• Fixed a map error with the Ouyang Xue CG in Qingxiao Line after defeating Mo Wen together with Xuanhuo Cult;
  
• Resolved a bug in the tutorial’s Yuwu Branch where, after Cheng Wanqing’s death, interacting with her did not grant the Eight Trigrams of Roving Tiger skill manual (players who meet the conditions can collect it from Cheng Yu);
  
• Addressed a bug preventing entry into the Wudang Forbidden Area before heading to Buddha’s Hollow in the main storyline if Cloudform Tai Chi was not previously completed;
  
• Extended the combat duration for the initial encounter with Zhao An at Pili School from 10 to 15 turns;
  
• Fixed missing walking sound effects;
  
• Corrected a sorting bug in the consumables section;
  
• Improved the guide unlocking process: Guides with multiple branches can now be unlocked by completing any one of them;
  
• Adjusted the effects of Cloud-Capped Leap:
  - Level 1 Effect – Added a new attribute: "All Wudang Sect moves deal 15% more damage for 2 turns after use."
  - Level 5 Effect – Added a new attribute: "Adds 2-3 layers of Agility per turn during Cloud-Capped Leap."

In this update, we have implemented several fixes and optimizations. Here are the details:

[h3]New Additions[/h3]

• Added a one-click learning feature: Left-clicking on martial arts books or blueprints will open a menu with an "Learn All" option, allowing the character to learn all relevant skill books and blueprints in the backpack. Items that do not meet learning and usage requirements will be covered in a gray overlay.
  
• Added an option to swap shoulder and trigger buttons in the system’s additional settings during battles.
  
• Each unlocked achievement now grants +1000 inheritance points (details can be viewed on the Inheritance interface).
  

[h3]Optimizations[/h3]

• Optimized the inheritance library for Blazing Divination and Elusive Liuyao Swordplay. Upon inheriting these, the books will now immediately level up to level 10.
  
• Fixed the issue where NPCs triggering the Rebirth effect would not activate the self-destruct effect from Boundless Abundance at extended difficulty levels.
  
• Fixed the cooldown anomaly for certain skills in the "Challenge Myself" difficulty.
  
• Fixed the issue where players could still access the Shaolin Sword Duel side quest related to Wei Huo without completing the Sharpening Skills quest.
  
• Fixed the bug where Cheng Yu mistakenly appeared in Nanjing under the vengeance storyline.
  
• Fixed the issue where Ye Fei would still appear at Lotus Lake after completing the Shaolin Sword Duel.
  
• Fixed missing special effects for Radiant Grace Mastery and Three Karma Assailants.
  
• Fixed missing effects for the Alliance Leader Costume, Thirteen Spectral Swordplay, and Nine Manifestations.
  
• Resolved the inability for the protagonist to surrender in battles at Valley of Dragons' Slumber (except for tutorial stages).
  
• Fixed the issue where defeating Xuanli at Buddha's Hollow did not unlock the Xuanhuo Token in the compendium.
  
• Fixed the bug where failing in the battle against the Duan siblings at the periphery of Buddha's Hollow would end the game.
  
• Adjusted inheritance unlock requirements: now, all inheritance items will drop in Easy and Normal modes, and completing these modes will unlock the corresponding inheritances.
  
• Fixed the incorrect application of injury stacks with Proud Dragon Repents.
  
• Fixed the issue where strengthening Proud Dragon Repents through Dragonish Palm Strike did not apply the injury effect when repelling targets.
  
• Sped up the battle pacing in Buddha's Hollow’s second level where the protagonist does not participate, and removed the first-level battle where Red Eagle led Jianghu fighters to encircle the Beggars' Sect and Divine Eagle Gate.
  
• Fixed the abnormal health issue with Helan Chou and Murong Chuiyun at the periphery of Buddha's Hollow.
  
• Expanded the trigger box for the Yuanqi Broken Sword.
  
• Fixed the abnormal display of the victory conditions for the first battle with Mara Kama on the third level of Buddha's Hollow.
  
• Removed the martial points cost required to reset meridians in Hard and Very Hard mode.
  
• Corrected various typos.
  

Additionally, the features for a one-click meridian impact and auto-save during multi-stage battles are in the production plan. Please be patient!

If you’re using mods, be aware that this update may cause compatibility issues, potentially preventing the game from launching or causing errors. To resolve this, we recommend uninstalling any mods, verifying the integrity of the game files, and then restarting.

[h3]Save Data Compatibility[/h3]
You can continue your journey from existing save files. For the best experience with the new storylines, we recommend using save files from the Main Quest: Return to Wudang for the best story experience.

The young master of the TianJian Sect, Xiao Hanguang, has emerged from seclusion and issued a challenge to the Shaolin Temple. Meanwhile, rumors about his connections to the Tianji Palace are swirling. But on the day of the duel, an unexpected event shakes Shaolin to its core... What choices will Yuwen Yi, caught in the middle of this storm, make? What is the fate of the martial world? What does it truly mean to be a hero? The answers await in this new chapter.



[h3]Steam Achievements[/h3]
At long last, Steam achievements have arrived! Thank you for your patience and support. After updating, your achievements will unlock based on your game progress. These can also be completed across multiple save files, so feel free to enjoy the challenge!

Please note: Due to the inability to read the records before Southern Chronicles version, early archives may not be able to unlock achievements. You can consider starting a brand new journey.

[h3]New System Features[/h3]

• Inheritance Library: In the "Extreme" difficulty setting, you can now select additional expansions that increase your difficulty score by 0.2 upon completion.
  
• New Inheritance Page: Unlock powerful inheritances after completing the game in hard or extreme mode.
  
• Additional Features: Convert excess meridian points, access a battlefield surrender option, and take on the Five Elements Challenge, where you’ll face tougher opponents for rarer rewards—or opt for safer, easier battles. The choice is yours!
  

[h3]Anniversary Gift[/h3]
As a thank-you for your incredible support, we’ve prepared a special anniversary gift! After the update, head to Hero Jiang’s home and open the treasure chest located to the left of his entrance to claim your reward. The chest will remain there, waiting for you to claim it whenever you’re ready.
