Saloon Simulator is kicking off its life as an Early Access game! We have big plans for the project and we want to shape them around your preferences and ideas. Over the next few months, we’ll be paying very close attention to your feedback—both here on Steam and over on our Discord server, where you’re warmly invited to join the conversation.

[h3]What’s included in the current Early Access version?[/h3]

• 34 quests that introduce the residents of Blueberry, the work of a saloon keeper, and all the mechanics and minigames we've built
  
• Expanded saloon management with rentable rooms and a full-fledged gambling den
  
• A robust Freeplay mode
  
• Brand-new furniture and decorative elements
  
• 2 new minigames: gold panning and unloading the train
  
• Full English voice-over performed by professional actors

While this version of the game has been thoroughly tested for over two months, you may still encounter bugs—we’ll be spending the upcoming weeks fixing and polishing based on your reports. Please don’t hesitate to let us know about any issues here on Steam or via Discord.

Early Access is a development phase—not a finished product. Our entire team will continue working on the game for many more months. We’ll be sharing our progress with you through monthly devlogs here on Steam and on our Discord channel.

[h3]FAQ[/h3]

I’ve tried to answer most of your questions in the FAQ section on our Discord. But in case you’d rather not join just yet, here they are:

I’m a content creator and would like a key to stream the game. What should I do?
Go to [https://rockgame.pl], click the “Request a Key” button in the top right corner, and select “Saloon Simulator” in the survey. Once you submit the form and meet the requirements, you should receive your key.

Do you plan to add a co-op mode?
Unfortunately, we don’t have any plans for that. Saloon was designed from the very beginning as a single-player experience, and adding online multiplayer would require rebuilding the core game code.

I have access to Saloon Simulator Playtest but can’t launch it. Why?
Playtests are specific builds we released during development. The latest version available is the Saloon Simulator Prologue, which is an improved and polished build that you may have seen in the last playtests. I encourage you to try the Saloon Simulator Prologue—it’s completely free!

Saloon Simulator was created out of a deep love for the Wild West atmosphere. We truly hope that your visit to Blueberry will let you see it not just as it is—but as it could one day become.

As the Polish poetic duo Olga and Rafał Golec once said, words that guide our production more than you might think:

For the past few weeks, we’ve been focused almost exclusively on bug fixes and minor polish to ensure this is the most refined version of the game you’ve ever played. [/h2][p]While polishing the EA build, we were able to add fully animated cutscenes to several story beats. Our intro sequence, in particular, now beautifully explains how Cheyenne ended up in Blueberry.

New Quests[/h2][p][/p][p]Early Access extends the game’s storyline with additional quests, characters, and mechanics. Between managing your saloon, you can help Sam pan for gold, care for your mule, or lend a hand to the postmaster unloading the train.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2][/h2][p][/p][h2]Looking Ahead[/h2][p][/p][p]Although the game is already well-tested and polished, we’re committed to squashing bugs throughout the entire Early Access period. We are very excited to tell you about the latest changes in Saloon Simulator! We are getting closer to releasing the Early Access so our main focus is polishing the game and making it more realistic with all the animation tweaks and other additions. We are also taking into consideration your feedback from the playtest survey so we can make the experience even more enjoyable for you! Thank you to all the players that took part in the playest and helped us make the game better.

[h2]1. New drink recipes[/h2]
We have new drinks available that you can serve to your customers, but even a cowboy can not only live on whiskey. Now you can make refreshing lemonade during the hottest days in the Old West!



[h2]2. Saloon renovation[/h2]
To brighten up the days that our guests spend lazily on eating, drinking and gambling away their savings during the game of Faro, we have upgraded the interior of the Saloon. You can now add a sofa and a half table to the main bar area. Some of the changes will only be available after the Early Access but you will be able to sneak a peak through the curtains.



[h2]3. New customers’ animations![/h2]
Adding new reactions to customers to make your experience even more diverse while you manage your Saloon. Now you can be sure of what they think of your service not only by listening to them but also through their body language.



[h2]4. Bugfixing[/h2]
During the polishing stage our programmers are dealing with bugs to make sure you won’t encounter them in the Early Access. Some of them are funnier than others, like Robert playing the air piano.
