You can play Deliver At All Costs for the first time with an exclusive demo during Steam Next Fest this February. This is a huge milestone for us, and we can’t wait for you to dive into the chaos.

In this demo, you’ll get a taste of the first two chapters, featuring unique and unpredictable missions. Whether you’re floating through town in a pick-up truck delivering balloons or tackling rough terrain with a load of mouldy watermelons destined for a questionable makeover, there’s never a dull moment. With fully destructible environments and a quirky, 1950s-inspired world, this is just the beginning of the wild ride ahead.

Of course, we’re incredibly excited and, if we’re being honest, a little nervous too! This game is our passion project, and sharing it with you is both thrilling and daunting. We’ve poured so much love into it, and now we get to see how it resonates with the community.

Mission Madness in Deliver At All Costs

Every mission is unique.


While developing Deliver At All Costs, we felt that every mission should feel like a brand-new adventure. Each mission is built around a different gameplay mechanic. Whether you're carefully plotting a route or embracing absolute chaos, the craziness ramps up with every delivery!

For example, in ACT 2, things really explode—literally. You'll find yourself delivering a rolling bomb shelter that wreaks havoc across the city as it barrels toward its destination. It's destruction meets delivery, and it's one of our proudest creations. Designing this variety has been our most ambitious (and challenging) undertaking, but we think you’ll love every moment.

It’s not just the missions, though. The encounters you’ll find as Winston explores St Monique are just as unique. Take Bubbles, the mischievous clown at the Fun Fair. He’s got one goal for you: drive a haunted car straight to top of mountain. Yes, you read that right.

And let’s not forget the hidden treasures waiting for discovery! Deliver At All Costs is packed with a dozen secret vehicles and bizarre gadgets—upgrades to your main ride that grant outrageous abilities, like a jet engine strapped to your delivery truck. These gadgets can turn the tide of any mission and add a whole new layer of mayhem.

We can’t wait for you to experience the madness we’ve poured into this game. Each mission is a love letter to creativity and chaos, and we’re so excited to see how you tackle them.

Delivering At All Costs: Story and Setting



We crafted Deliver At All Costs’ story to provide a journey just as chaotic as the gameplay!

At the centre of Deliver At All Costs is our protagonist: Winston Green, a down-on-his-luck courier with a fiery temper. His story begins with his first day on the job, but as his circumstances unravel, he is thrown into a downward spiral that explores themes of desperation and madness.

Told in three acts, the narrative mirrors Winston’s journey, starting in a world bathed in bright, sunlit optimism and shifting towards shadows and turmoil. With over 30,000 meticulously crafted words and two hours of fully voice-acted cinematics, Deliver At All Costs invites players to immerse themselves in a deeply mysterious, cinematic experience. For those who love to piece together mysteries, we’ve sprinkled some hidden clues throughout the game that hint at larger themes.

The first act of Deliver At All Costs introduces you to the island of St Monique, a fictional location inspired by the vibrant aesthetics and culture of Key West, Miami, and Santa Monica. But St Monique isn’t just a backdrop, it’s a character in its own right. As you explore, you’ll encounter the culture, music, and wacky characters of the era. Whether you’re cruising along the coast, navigating the bustling downtown streets, or slaloming through industrial zones, every inch of St Monique has a story to tell.

St Monique is just the beginning. This is only one of three cities you’ll get to explore throughout the game. Each location offers its own distinct atmosphere, characters, and challenges, ensuring that no two areas look or feel the same.

Delivering At All Costs: Destruction and Retaliation



Everything is destructible.

It takes up to two hours to set up a building for destruction, but it’ll take mere seconds to tear one down!

When we began the project, we had a bold mantra: ‘Everything is destructible.’ It sounded ambitious, almost reckless, and boy, did it give us some sleepless nights.

In Deliver At All Costs, destruction isn’t just a gimmick - it’s the heartbeat of the entire experience. Every building, car, tree, and power line is part of our living, breakable world. Each structure is meticulously designed to collapse into 50-100 individually breakable parts. Smashing through a wall or levelling a tower is pure catharsis. But it’s not just scenery — your decisions have consequences. Destroy the wrong building, and you might block your path to a critical side mission. (Don’t worry, your actions won’t affect the main story!)

The vehicles, especially your trusty We Deliver pick-up, are no exception to this destruction-fueled mayhem. With 36 breakable pieces, your car’s appearance and functionality evolve (or devolve) as you take damage. Lose your hatch? You better start delivering melons in reverse. It’s not just about looking cool — every dent, dangling door, and burst gas tank can impact gameplay, creating hilarious and challenging moments.

Civilians add another layer of chaos. They’re not just helpless bystanders — they fight back. A chainsaw-wielding pedestrian might rip off a door, or a daring sledgehammer jump could cut your commute short.

Deliver At All Costs: The Team Behind the Game

From students to storytellers. Meet Far Out Games, the team willing to deliver the destruction!

Picture this: The beautiful city of Gothenburg, Sweden, and a dev team on the cusp of greatness!

You’ve most likely seen the chaos and you’ve probably heard about the gripping narrative. But we want to tell you about the passion, the vision, and the journey behind our game.

We set sail to turn a school project into our dream project. This decision took our four founders - Lars, Daniel, Jimmy, and Jonatan - to several key moments. This included pitching Deliver At All Costs, winning awards, striking a publishing deal with KONAMI, and most importantly, maturing as a team.

The chaos and charisma we poured into Deliver At All Costs became public knowledge thanks to an article by PC Gamer. This sparked interest in the game from various publishers. With great things in the headlights, it was time for Far Out Games to be born. We built a team consisting of twelve alumni from game development programs in Sweden with incredibly varied backgrounds.
