Hey doomed souls,

One of my, shall we say colleagues, mentioned this little thing called Steam Next Fest. My minions of the crypts have been getting lazy. I watched one of them just give a soul the letters instead of fighting them, so I think a fresh, new wave of “visitors” to the crypts would shape up my minions.

I set aside a few souls to help schedule what to do for Steam Next Fest. I, of course, came up with all the ideas. If this fails though, those poor, unfortunate souls are going to wish all they had to do was go through the crypts.

[h3]Monday - Play the demo[/h3]
Those curious who happen to wander into my crypts will struggle against the waves of minions I have set aside. The demo is available to check out and try your luck in these dank dungeons.

[h3]Tuesday - Dev Log[/h3]
The foolish developers who set me loose on all of you, Paul and Lee, want to talk about how development has been proceeding, as well as share some funny bugs and what inspired the creation of Cryptmaster. Trivial but I suppose they are allowed their trivialities.

[h3]Wednesday - Cryptmaster Video[/h3]
Luckily, not all of my minions are so thoroughly useless. I’ve had a number of them work on something I’m told is called a “trailer,” showing you the desolate wastelands you’ll be traveling through. This will be released on Wednesday so be sure to “look” on the Akupara Youtube.

[h3]Thursday: D&D Cryptmaster stream (10am PST)[/h3]
A few souls have approached me regarding something called “Dungeons and Dragons.” I am reliably informed it will give me entirely new avenues to torture the risen dead under my thrall, so I have decided to showcase their public humiliation to all of you.

[h3]Friday: Gameplay stream (10am PST)[/h3]
Finally, one of my minions will go deeper in the crypts themself. It will be the first time any of you will be able to see the game past the demo and I will be watching and making improvements if they survive. It would be boring if they didn’t at least suffer a little.

Hey doomed souls,

A few of my minions have gotten my crypts to be featured in the Story-Rich 'Mega Bundle'. Now more unfortunate souls will be trapped in my crypts forever in the demo that is out right now. I should celebrate with some cake and confetti but I think that would bring too much cheer and life into my crypts.

Some of you have been laughing at me that I didn’t know that a cantaloupe is an acceptable piece of fruit according to your souls. My minions have given me this fruit book to try to remedy that but I just don’t care.

You did a great job cleaning the dungeons. So much so that Cryptmaster won the Jury Prix Award in Indiecade. I consider this the second best accomplishment for me as Cryptmaster. My best accomplishment obviously being creating the crypts themselves and trapping you here heheheh.

I know last time I said I would think about freeing your soul if you clean the dungeon. I thought about it and no you aren’t leaving heheheh. With winning the award there is increased opportunity to trap more souls in the crypts. To celebrate, I am going to capture more souls by opening up the crypts.

Get your friends and “soulmates” download and play the Cryptmaster demo and I’ll consider freeing your soul a bit longer next time.

Hey doomed souls,

I can tell that you are scared and confused about how you got here in my crypts. Well, over the weekend my ambassadors went to Gamescom in Cologne, Germany to, how do I say this nicely; devour their souls in Cryptmaster. I would thank those that visited my crypts but either they’ve sadly escaped or have been dissolved into the crypts. hehehe.

I’ve been watching and taking notes from the souls that ran through the crypts and already am improving and expanding the crypt for the next round of souls to come through. I was going to send you to your doom but I’ll cut you a deal though, with the increased activity in Cryptmaster the last batch of souls have left quite a bit of a mess in here. Clean up the dungeon and I’ll consider releasing your soul.
