The RPS Game Club pick for April is Betrayal At Club Low

A new month means it's time for the RPS Game Club to pick its next game, and I thought, you know what, let's do Betrayal At Club Low, the surreal nightclub RPG from Cosmo D Studios. Not only did we give it a Bestest Best when it came out in September last year, but just last month it was freshly annointed as the IGF Grand Prize winner, making it an excellent time to revisit this latest slice of Off-Peak City madness.

1.07 + Club Low Wins IGF Nuovo and Seamus McNally Grand Prize!

Betrayal At Club Low made a strong showing at the 25th Annual Independent Games Festival this week, walking away with two major awards - the Nuovo and the Seamus McNally Grand Prize.

I'm incredibly honored to have gotten these awards and I thank everyone here for their continued support and enthusiasm for my games. Wow!

While on the show floor, however, I did catch one bug, which I've hotfixed today.

Betrayal At Club Low wins IGF Grand Prize

Cosmo D's surreal night club RPG Betrayal At Club Low was the big winner at tonight's IGF Awards, picking up both the Seumas McNally Grand Prize and the Nuovo Award. It was one of this year's frontrunners in terms of nominations, winning all but one of the awards it was up for this year. 1.06 + IGF Nomination

Hi everyone. This patch has just one bullet, but it's helpful if you want to play the game at a lower difficulty.

  • Fixed a bug where if you loaded a save after restarting the game and had more than 5 health, it would not display the 6th or 7th health tokens. Reloading would fix this, but now it works accross the board.

In other news, Betrayal At Club Low has been nominated for three IGF awards, including the Seamus McNally Grand Prize. I'm amazed at the recognition, and the journey this game's been on thus far. Thanks for your continued support, as ever. And if you catch any new issues, please post them in the comments section below, or email support_at_cosmod_dot_net.
