Prince of Suburbia - Part 1 News

As a Valentine's treat for all our Prince of Suburbia fans, we will be releasing a FREE UPDATE to Part 1 and Part 2 of Prince of Suburbia on Tuesday, February 14 at 08:00 AM MST (UTC/GMT -7h).

This update will bring Part 2 - V0.9 (the first beach update) to the Part 2 paid DLC. If you have already paid for the Part 2 DLC, this free update will give you immediate access to the new content.

The first beach update, Part 2 - V0.9 of Prince of Suburbia includes:

• 8 scenes
  
• ~20,000 words
  
• 6 new backgrounds
  
• 35 2D illustrations
  
• 21 2D animations

This update will also include two remastered scenes (one with Heather, one with Naomi) in Part 1, which is free for all players. If you already saw the original scenes, you can access the remastered scenes in the gallery.

With this update we are adding BETA language support for the following languages to Part 1 and Part 2. If you are interested in helping edit the BETA translations of any of the following languages please reach out to us on Discord!

The current version (V0.8) of the Prince of Suburbia - Part 2 paid DLC will be discounted 10% until February 13th! Now is your chance to buy the Part 2 paid DLC on sale before the V0.9 update!


We are currently wrapping up translations and testing for the next update (V0.9) to Prince of Suburbia - Part 2, the first of two updates with beach vacation content. We are also adding BETA language support for new languages that were not previously supported!*

V0.9 is a FREE update to the Part 2 DLC. Any customers who have purchased the Part 2 DLC will be able to access the new V0.9 content for free as soon as it's released on Steam!

The V0.9 release will also add some remastered scenes as a free update to Part 1. Players will not have to replay any scenes in Part 1 that they've already played to see the remastered content. The remastered scenes will be accessible via the gallery.

We are excited to announce that Prince of Suburbia - Part 2 (paid DLC) is now available for purchase!

This release is coming a bit later than we originally anticipated, but that extra time allowed us to add translations for all the languages currently supported in Part 1 (Chinese, Spanish, Italian and Polish)! We are very excited to be able to offer translations with the initial release, as we originally did not think it would be possible.

We also hope this release date will allow us to extend our launch discount beyond the first week due to the Steam Winter Sale. Pending Steam approval, Part 2 paid DLC will be discounted 10% from its launch today until the end of the Steam Winter Sale on January 5!

Prince of Suburbia - Part 2 is the final chapter of the Prince of Suburbia story, picking up where we left off at the end of Part 1. It currently includes 3 updates worth of content that have not been available to our Steam players until now!

Please be aware that the Part 2 paid DLC is still in development (currently V0.8). We have 3+ content updates planned to complete Part 2. New content will be added via FREE UDPATES for all players who have purchased the Part 2 paid DLC.

We can't wait for you to play the Part 2 paid DLC! We've truly saved the best for last!

We have now updated the current FREE DEMO (Part 1 - V0.55) of Prince of Suburbia with more remastered art and Polish translation for FREE on all platforms where it is currently available, including here on Steam.

This update added two fully remastered scenes (one with Heather, one with Naomi) including remastered animations and new voice acting. This update also included remastered backgrounds throughout the game.

All remastered scenes are accessible through the Gallery feature for players who have already accessed the original scenes. Players DO NOT have to replay scenes they've already unlocked to see the remastered scenes.

We're also excited to announce that with this update we added a complete Polish translation! There have also been minor corrections made to our existing translations (Chinese, Spanish, and Italian).

We are working on improving our translation pipeline to allow for even more translations in the future. So, hopefully, we will have more announcements about that in the future!
