British Campaign is Available

Hello Generals!

The first year of the British Campaign has been released in v0.4.25.

We want to introduce the mechanics of the British Campaign and collect your feedback. More balancing and work are needed, but you can try it out and understand the basics of the British Campaign.

Moreover, we have done a huge amount of work to improve the game, mechanics, and balance. The most significant changes are listed below:

- European armies' transparency in homelands and dependency on invasions from available European troops. You can see how many troops can invade or support you. If there are no troops, then there is no invasion or support. The European nation can produce troops and a navy with speed depending on difficulty.
- Rework of native settlements and units. Now there won't be a never-ending spawn of natives and their settlements
- Decrement of navy maintenance.
- Improved particles
- Dynamic aggressiveness of AI. AI will be more active in the summer.
- Improved retreat in tactical battles
- Improved behavior of AI in tactical battles
- Rework of transports, now there will be trader, transport, and armed transport
- Rework of charge block, now there won't be any block, and your unit will move to start a melee with the enemy
- Improved hints and texts
- Added notification about missing British recruits in the colonies to refill your expeditionary regiments
- Improved global map minimap. Added settlements and visualization of potential rebellion
- Fixed issue when AI units did nothing when left tactical battle
- Tutorial quests and videos
- improved AI for cavalry in tactical battles
- Improved cavalry animations and behavior in tactical battles
- difficulty modifiers for merchants' travel time, the probability of being intercepted for merchants, European army and navy production
- Fleets are added to the intelligence report
- Navy map mode improved
- Supply map mode improved
- Huge amount of different fixes and improvements

Unstable branch access granted

Hello, Generals!

Thank you for your support and the long wait. In order for you to have access to the content that is in the works, we decided to create an unstable branch so that you can play new mechanics and content before they become publicly available. To do this, you need to enter the code "unstablebranch" in Steam->Property->Betas. It will grant access to the branch, and you will be able to change the client.

P.S. Saves that will be created in the unstable version of the game are not compatible with the public version of the game.

At the moment, you can find the following things in the branch:

- The first year of the British campaign
- Dynamically aggressive AI on the global map
- Reworked settlement and spam of natives. Destroying villages does not lead to their immediate reappearance, the more villages are destroyed, the slower new ones appear. Native units are not full when they appear, and take time to fill.
- Improved General's behavior on the global map
- Reduced ship maintenance
- Reworked transports, now there will be a merchant, transport and armed transport
and many other improvements in different places of the game.

Currently, we are working on the following things:

- Integrated tutorials into quests
- Transparency of the British army and navy for the US campaign. You can see when Britain can send to invade colonies. If Britain doesn't have enough warships or regiments, then invasion won't happen
- Stabilization of the British campaign and further years for the campaign
- Improvements in AI
- Fixes of your reports and implementation of features required by you
