Meat Baby Update

  • [p]Are you just TOO POPULAR? Feel LESS POPULAR, by hiding invites as they arrive (but you can still review them via the party menu).[/p]
[h3]Trophy Balancing[/h3]
  • [p]Turns out some of you are above averagely good, so we’ve changed some score thresholds at which trophies are awarded, making them harder to earn. This is your own fault.[/p]
[h3]Discovery Improvements[/h3]
  • [p]We’ve worked on improving the quality and range of dungeons on the Discovery page.[/p]
  • [p]We’re striving to uplift our community and its creativity, keeping the front page of Discovery full of high-effort dungeons that truly deserve the attention. “Farming” and similar dungeons are off to face the corner and think about what they’ve done, and will be much more strongly moderated moving forward.[/p]
  • [p]This is the first round of changes, and there will be further updates over the coming weeks to highlight your deranged dungeon efforts![/p]

  • [p]We’ve moved the “Crowd Tickler” triumph. It felt weird to offer tickling to so many new players, and it was clearly too soon for something so hard. Well done to the players who did beat it (champions!). If you didn’t finish it, don’t worry, you’ll see it again later![/p]
  • [p]We’ve fixed, like, 50 bugs or something. Not that we’re counting. We just eat bugs for breakfast. And lunch, and as a post-dungeon snack.[/p]

  • [p]Party menu is now accessible when players are on the matchmaking screen.[/p]
  • [p]Players are no longer able to snipe into Quickplay sessions and cause havoc during the last five seconds of a matchmaking countdown.[/p]
  • [p]Revamped stability to stop crashes when a 5th player tries to join a full party. This town ain’t big enough for the five of us.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where AGIDs of other users no longer displayed after a network disconnection.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issues where, if two players validate a dungeon at the same time a new player attempts to connect to the Plaza, the third player incorrectly matched to the dungeon validation.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issues with enemies and players being able to block and parry the Gax's shield buff. Always gank responsibly.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some overlapping textures in “A Punishing Pageant.”[/p]

  • [p]Fixed navmesh errors in “The Meat Job” that prevented enemies from attacking. Pacifism? In MY Koliseum? It’s less likely than you think.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a navmesh error in “Sorry, Baby.” Enemies are now brave enough to actually walk through that one narrow corridor, so no spawn camping for you.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed the Grill Mother going rogue and displaying two Meat Babies when activated. Turns out you can have too much Meat Baby.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed rare desynch issues after changing Glory Moves and attempting to move or use charged attacks right after.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed various typos in Keith’s ENG subtitles. He was too busy raving to notice.[/p]
  • [p]Updated various German NPC voice overs to better match subtitling.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where equipping the Hot Potato at a locker would sometimes crash the server. No potato should hold that much power.[/p]
  • [p]Launching taunted enemies and immediately freezing them no longer causes server errors. You may combo once more in peace.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a rare crash that occurs when looking around in the pit while a pit tile is selected in Create Mode. Sometimes you gaze into the abyss and the abyss just crashes to desktop, I dunno what to tell you...[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where previous versions of published dungeons appeared under “Work in Progress” in Create Mode. Billy just can’t let go, sometimes...[/p]
  • [p]Stopped the republishing of previously banned dungeon from creating a new dungeon.[/p]
  • [p]Stopped migrated levels appearing as published in Discovery, whilst also appearing as "needing validation" in Create Mode.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where a player’s avatar was displayed over the HP UI when testing dungeons in Create Mode.[/p]
  • [p]Stopped mouse and keyboard glyphs persisting when using the touch screen or pressing STEAM button on the STEAM DECK.[/p]

Double Stamp Rewards Update

[p]Score twice as many Stamps in daily events, weekly events, and seasonal triumphs in the Double Stamp Rewards Event from October 21 through November 4. Simply finish in a top leaderboard placement when the leaderboard resets to receive your extra rewards. We’re also releasing our second update featuring various quality of life improvements to gameplay, Discovery, and Create Mode for a smoother experience on your Road to Stardom.[/p][p][/p][p]Downtime will begin on October 22 at 6AM PT (1:00PM UTC) and is expected to last 5 hours. Check out the full list of changes, including the Double Stamp Rewards Event.[/p][p][/p][h3]Double Stamp Rewards[/h3][p]Further bolstering the latest in Loregok looks are special Halloween items available at Beast Shall Ride (BSR) in exchange for Stamps. Stamps are a form of currency that can be earned through gameplay, including events and Triumphs. If you’re eyeing any of the limited time cosmetics in the BSR shop, you’ll want to complete more daily events, weekly events, and weekly seasonal Triumphs for extra Stamps. Stamps can also be obtained from the Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam stores.[/p][p][/p][p]Here’s the full breakdown of Double Stamp Rewards by activity. Please note, daily events and weekly seasonal Triumphs are solo activities, while weekly events are for 2 to 4 Contenders. Time remaining before daily or weekly resets will always be visible in-game next to the relevant activity.[/p][p][/p][h3]Daily Event Rewards[/h3][p]Daily events are accessible through the giant King of Meat sign in Ironlaw Plaza.   • Some players are not correctly receiving Mr Beast level rewards (This can be mitigated by restarting the client. A full fix for this issue has been confirmed and will be included in an upcoming patch.)

  • Blocking Gristle’s attacks with a hammer can cause minor issues
  • Enemies struggle to navigate in certain dungeon rooms
  • Players may incorrectly experience server connectivity warnings during normal gameplay

  • Crashes can occur when switching to props mode
  • Certain props, textures and surfaces are displaying incorrectly

[h3]KNOWN COMPATIBLITY ISSUES

  • EAC initialization screen might freeze when launching on STEAM DECK
  • By default title does not detect the PS5 controller
  • Flickering during gameplay when using an INTEL ARC A series GPU
  • Nvidia GPUs have lower performance on Windows 10 compared to Windows 11
  • Performance degradation occurs after a few minutes of gameplay on laptop solutions with Nvidia hybrid graphics with drivers 581.15 (Workaround: Use latest Nvidia drivers)
  • Severe performance degradation occurs after changing the Graphics quality preset during gameplay on an ASUS TUF A16 Laptop with AMD Ryzen7 CPU and AMD RX 7600S GPU
    (Workaround: Reboot the title)
  • Title crashes at boot on Nvidia GTX 750TI GPU
  • "Reset to default" will always change the QUALITY to HIGH regardless of GPU raw power
  • The screen will flicker when swapping between specific AMD FSR1 upscaling modes (Workaround: Reboot the title)
  • When using a PS5 controller the specific glyphs (icons) are not selected by default by the game
  • CUSTOM preset video option values reset when swapping back to it from other presets
  • Enabling FSR upscaling will disable the vignette effect
