After the other version of this game (Sexy Mystic Survivors) was released, there have been concerns about why there are 2 versions of this game. In this announcement, we would like to answer your questions and concerns to make clear of the matter.

Why not release the adult content as a DLC for BMS but as a separate game (SMS)?
Due to the laws and regulations of the country where our Archmage Games Studio is located in, we are unable to add adult content DLC to BMS. SMS is actually released under Fantasize Games Studio, a studio located in USA.

Why the adult content is not released as a free DLC? Why are you selling adult content (SMS) so expensively?
This game takes us many months and a lot of money to develop. The base game (BMS) is actually priced low taking into account that it doesn't have any adult content. Considering the prices of other high-quality adult games on the market, we believe the price of SMS is set appropriately.

I already bought BMS and now I have to buy SMS too. Was I scammed into buying the same product twice?
Both SMS steam page and BMS steam page were made 8 months ago. And we never had the intention of releasing the adult content as a DLC for BMS. We have always made it clear that they will be separate games. And if you buy this bundle https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/29108/BMS_Upgrade_to_SMS/ , you will get SMS at a remarkably discounted price because the price of BMS will be subtracted from the bundle.

Is BMS just a scam product to advertise for SMS?
No, as our studio prioritizes developing good gameplay first and foremost, both BMS and SMS will receive the same updates (new maps, new weapons, new characters, new game modes, etc.). The only difference is SMS will have adult content and BMS will strictly stay a non-adult product.

The total amount of money I spent on buying BMS in the past and the bundle now is actually more than just buying SMS now. Is this intended?
We didn't intend for this to happen. Initially, we intended that the combined price of BMS and the bundle would not be more than just buying SMS alone. However, due to the limited capability of Steam's bundle and discount options, we now found out that there is just no formula that can satisfy this condition. For this, we sincerely apologize to BMS owners, and we hope that the price difference is not very significant.

I am from a country where I don't have access to SMS and the bundle. How do I obtain SMS?

We are grateful for your feedback, from which we were able to make the game a little better after every patch. As for the future content, here is our plan:

• Add more levels with unique environmental features, monsters, and bosses.
  
• Add more characters with unique play styles and appealing appearances.
  
• Add more fun weapons and evolutions.
  
• Revise and add more relics.
  
• Implement systems that allow players to challenge even greater difficulties and attain new power heights.
  
• Implement gameplay mechanics that make our game more fun and unique.
  

Note that due to the high production quality of our game, it takes a significant amount of time to add more content to the game. For example, a new level can take our small team a month to implement. For that reason, we will not be able to publish updates as frequently as other games in the same genre. Rest assured, please know that our team has been and will be working very hard to make the game better!

As announced earlier this week, we have just published important changes regarding the balance and difficulty of the game.

• Changes to the RNG of reward choices so that players are less susceptible to bad luck. (Bad luck runs can still happen but are less likely).
  
• Changes to the difficulty curves so that players are less overwhelmed by monsters and have a chance to make a comeback.
  
• Difficulty levels implemented: Casual, Normal, Hard, Very Hard, Extreme. Higher difficulties will be a true test of the player's skill, and understanding of the game, and may not be beatable without sufficient permanent upgrades.
  
• Add a permanent upgrade to increase the chance of monsters dropping pickup items (gathering orb, laser beam).
  
• Add several quality-of-life changes.
  
• Fix several game-crashing issues.
  

We appreciate all the feedback and bug reports so far, and we want to let you know that we have kept track of all of them, but because of our team size, we will need time to get to them, we guarantee that no feedback or bug report is ignored!
