We're also aware that our growing international player base has been vocal about improving our English localization. While the current version has been around for a while and may feel familiar, we know it's not perfect. We're careful about making changes that might disrupt the game for our longtime players, especially given the challenge of finding translators experienced in both Wuxia culture and Hero’s Adventure.
We have started a new round of localization efforts. Considering the game's vast text—over 1.9 million Chinese characters—this isn't a quick fix but a long-term commitment to enhancing your experience.

Hello, everyone. We have just updated a version to fix the abnormal triggering of Man Tuoluo's event.

After the release of the DLC "Canvas of Heroes" , some players asked a question: some NPCs have no character portraits, is it a bug?——Actually not, the new DLC includes new style characters of 200+ important characters, but it does not cover all the characters in the game, such as passers-by A or bandit B.
We mentioned that the original pixel style character portraits is not compatible with other character portraits styles. Unfortunately, this also means that the characters not included in the new DLC will not appear in the form of old character portraits.
However, more than 200 important characters will have new character portraits and corresponding expression changes.

1. The new portraits will be applicable across the base game, "The Great Conquest," and "Her Vanishing Silhouette" DLCs, featuring more than 200 portraits including the protagonist, companions and important characters.
   
2. The new portraits are integrated into various game scenes including narrative dialogues, combat & skills interfaces, character creation screens, and the character gallery.
   
3. Once purchased, the new portraits are enabled by default but can be freely switched in the game settings menu.

   • There is no limit to the number of companions you can have in a sworn brotherhood; each requires a drink, with different drinks providing different bonus effects.
     
   • Specific combinations of companions can unlock additional bond effects.
     
   • This new Sworn Brotherhood mechanic does not conflict with the existing bonding mechanic
     
   • Some characters are unable to enter into sworn brotherhoods.

4. Corrected a conflict in the Ling Mengdie quest where killing the master led to subsequent event issues.
   
5. Fixed an error in the scene caused by the Four Protectors not leaving the party in the Nine Factions Sect main storyline.
   
6. Addressed the conflict between Yue Yongyingyu's visit to Da Liang City and the Nine Factions Sect's Greed event.
   
7. Resolved an issue where following the main storyline during the Xie Xizi's personal event could cause the Xie Xizi to disappear.
