Balance changes! 30% bigger pick ups, and more! Patch v 0.53!
CHANGELOG:
• Pick ups are now 30% bigger.
This tweak makes it a lot easier to gather weapons, which I believe will make the game more enjoyable and dynamic.

  • Size of pick ups in Treasure Hunt.
The sizes of colliders have been adjusted, based on the item's value. Coins have a collider of standard size, sapphires have it 25% smaller, and for diamonds it's minus 50%.

  • Adjusted physics of Grenades and Dynamites.
Now both of them have more resistance when rolling on the ground, making it easier for players to put them where they want them. Grenades are more affected by this.
BUG FIXES:
• Fixed the bug where a Landmine would sometimes be treated as underwater, even when on the surface.
  • Fixed an issue where aiming with the Molotov was too sensitive.
  • Fixed some instances of a rare bug, where a game would freeze at the end before the "winner" screen.
  • Fixed the bug, where when eliminated and observing other players, icons displaying arsenal of the followed player were not displaying proper items.

10 new maps! Introduction of Sudden Death mechanic! Patch v 0.52!
CHANGELOG:
• 10 new maps added!
5 new maps added for "Last Man Standing"/"Treasure Hunt" and 5 new maps added for "Disappearing Platforms" have been added to the game. Maps are "Tiny" in size and are meant to make the game more engaging and dynamic, when there's only few players playing. These maps have a limit of 4 players.

  • Sudden Death mechanic.
If a game of "Last Man Standing" drags out for too long, a nuclear bomb will be dropped. Each following turn the map has a 30% chance of detonading, which eliminates players in order from the closest to the furthest, so that the player who is most far away wins. I believe this will make for some fun and unpredictable in-game situations, where players will try to wager whether they should move further away or eliminate their opponents.

  • Increased radius of dynamite and grenade explosions.
Radius of dynamites and grenades was increased by 15%. They still cause the same damage and push away by the same force, but explosions can affect players that stand a bit futher out than before.

  • Race maps adjusted to be easier.
Some touch ups were made, to make racing less frustrating. The places where the players fell off the map the most were tweaked to be easier to pass by.

  • Indicator for minimum and maximum required players.
An indicator showing minimum and maximum possible number of players for a map has been added. It is shown along the screenshot of the map where applicable.

  • "Small" maps now require minimum 4 players.
With the introduction of "Tiny" maps, minimum players required to play on "Small" maps was increased to 4, and 7 when it comes to "Big" maps.

  • 5 players required for a race to appear for voting.
Since races take a while to finish and aren't as fun with only few players, the algorithm won't propose races unless at least 5 players are in game. It has also been tweaked so that only one of the race modes can appear when voting - either "Peaceful Race" or "Weapon Race".

Patch v 0.51 is here!
CHANGELOG:
• Changed ability to host private games to VIP players only.
This change was made to make the public multiplayer more alive. You can still invite friends when you play public multiplayer.

  • Adjusted the algorithm that spawns weapons in "Last Man Standing" as well as valuables in "Treasure Hunt".
Long story short, there should now be more "pick ups" available during games.

  • Adjusted the physics of the characters.
Dynamic Friction has been increased, so now the characters slide less. Bounciness settings was also changed a little. The changes should make it a bit easier for the player to move around, making race games a lot less frustrating.

  • Adjusted the colliders of platforms in "Disappearing Platforms."
Collider of platforms was changed from their mesh to a simple box. It's a minor change, but it should improve the gameplay experience.

  • Fixed the issue with Landmines sometimes not working.
Sometimes your character would freeze and do nothing when using a landmine. This has been dealt with.

Let the mayhem begin!

Well, it finally happened. I've pressed that big green button with "RELEASE" written on it! This is only the beginning of a journey, during which hopefully the game grows into something big and beautiful!

See you in game!
