Awesome update for VIP Players!
Begin a VIP just got a lot more awesome!

Edit your online match settings to your heart's content!
From now on, VIP Upgrade DLC owners are not just able to host private games - they're capable of completly customizing their match settings! Here's a list of things that the host can now set up:
  • How much time do players have to make a move.
  • How many turns have to pass for a game to end (For Last Man Standing it is turn limit after which nuke falls).
  • Players' starting HP.
  • For how many turns do players have to wait after being eliminated
  • Jump power modifier.
  • Enable or disable nuke for Last Man Standing mode.
  • % chance nuke has to explode each turn.
  • Which weapons will spawn on the map.
  • % chance for each weapon to spawn.
  • Players' starting equipment so that they can begin the game already carrying some weapons.
  • Choose any specific mode and map.
  • Pick the number of bots that will play along real players.
Why do players have to pay to host a game?
A question that is asked often, and I can understand the frustration! Please, keep in mind that for me to be able to keep this project alive and regularly updated, it needs to generate some revenue. It's still possible to play public games with friends. I love making free games, but I'd hate to make something pay to win, and people usually don't bother buying DLC with just cosmetics - that's why I'm doing my best for the DLC to justify its price, and I hope the new update will help with that!
When you buy the DLC, you're not just getting a bunch of stuff - you're supporting the creator of the game, and the future of J-Jump Arena!
Time for more maps!

10 new maps have been added for the Disappearing Platforms mode! They feature new, bigger platforms, which are harder to miss! They've been designed for the game to be more about planning, rather than struggling just not to fall down!

Widescreen Resoluion Fix
Widescreen resolutions are now fixed!
You hear me right! I can only apologize for not taking care of it sooner, but from now on, the UI won't be bugging out on widescreen resolutions! Woohoo! Enjoy the game!

Snowland maps are here! New weapons too!
3 new weapons make their debut in J-Jump Arena!!
• Frostcore
When thrown, it explodes on impact freezing nearby players for 2 following turns! The tricky part is, players that are frozen are unable to move but receive 90% less damage.
  • Frostmine
Similar to Landmine, except it freezes players just like Frostcore does!
  • Incendiator
It is very much like Shotgun - it also shoots 6 bullets, except these put players on fire! Careful though as it's even less accurate than Shotgun is!
Snowland maps!
Brand new Snowland biome is here, introducing 8 new maps! These maps feature ice, so happy sliding around!
Other updates...

Balance changes:
Movement is less affected by water than it was before, so it shouldn't be as frustrating.
Other improvements:
When throwing something, the weapon is now visible in First Person View when aiming.

5 new maps + various fixes & tweaks!
5 new maps have been added to the game:
• 2 "tiny" swamp maps
  • 1 "medium" swamp map
  • 1 "medium" canyon map
  • 1 "medium" forest map
List of other fixes and tweaks:
• Increased data send rate to provide a smoother multiplayer experience.
  • When it comes to "Disappearing Platforms", third person view is now default camera view when aiming to jump. You can use left shift for first person view.
  • Slightly increased the explosion radius and damage of Bazooka.
  • Fixed the animation of fire as it sometimes wasn't working properly.
  • Fixed an issue where if a player was eliminated due to a fire, they'd respawn and still have the "on fire" animation.
  • The protection bubble that's put on a player after respawning now protects them from fire.
  • Adjusted the color or protection bubble to be a bit more vibrant to increase its visibility.
  • Fixed an issue where players would sometimes respawn one atop of another.
  • Changed the trail color of Super Grenade to red.
