The Bureau of Research and Investigation of Metaphysics (B.R.I.M.) must keep up to maintain control over the continuously evolving outbreak. More equipment and items have been authorized for use to aid your investigation. You can access them via the Safehouse, and you can collect resources on the field to unlock more upgrades.
Be cautious as you progress in investigating Mount Bisik, where you will eventually encounter stronger anomalies in the field. Here is the list of updates that you can check out from the new updated demo. [h3]🛠️ Crafting System[/h3]
Craft supplies, equipment, and weapons to help your investigation.
The Workbench is now available, enabling agents to access a range of tools to support their investigations. You'll need different materials to craft the appropriate items, which can be obtained in the field and after completing missions.
[h3]⚡ Upgrade Skill[/h3]
Learn new skills, and upgrade your Agent to be more proficient on the field. 
The Workbench also offers various options for agents to learn new skills. Boost physical stats, perform more actions, or unlock additional crafting options by upgrading the appropriate skills. You can earn more skill points by completing missions in the field.
[h3]🧑✈️ Character’s Specialization[/h3]
Now, you can choose your specialization at the start of the game. 
Every B.R.I.M. Agent has a background on how they come in contact with the Bureau. There are several specializations given at random. Be sure to choose one that fits your playstyle. Whether you play solo or as a team, different specializations do matter in increasing your chances of survival.
[h3]🔫 Upgrade Ranged Weapons[/h3]
Ranged combat is your lifeline against the horde, attach your gun to shape your playstyle. 
Ranged weapon attachments are available, allowing you to create custom combinations. Mix and match components like high-caliber barrels, tactical scopes, and magazine extensions to suit your needs and enhance your weapon's power. You can access them by crafting them on the Workbench and unlocking a specific skill.
[h3]🗺️ Level Selection[/h3]
All intel we had gathered are presented here. You have the freedom to proceed with your investigation as you see fit. 
The level selection screen serves as the mission briefing for each new level as you progress through the game. Here, you can review your main objectives with your team and gain important field information, as well as learn about the equipment you may encounter in the specified area.
[h3]🧥 Character Customization (Wardrobe)[/h3]
Define yourself, and fight off the horde with style. 
The Wardrobe is now accessible to all Agents in the Safehouse. Customize your character with a variety of pre-made heads and bodies. Outfit colors are also interchangeable. You can change your look before or after each mission.
[h3]🪖 Onboarding NPC[/h3]
Meet B.R.I.M. Captain Atma, the one who helped you before everything went wrong.
Before entering the Safehouse, you will first report to a Special Agent assigned to assist with the Mount Bisik investigation. He had contacted many agents who had failed on the field, and his intel is valuable for us before proceeding on each mission.
[h3]🔁 Game Loop (Your Chances to Retry)[/h3]
The horror is unrelenting. You have three chances to fight back.
Each new game grants you three chances to try again after failing a mission. Each failure returns you to the Safehouse—but without the supplies and equipment you brought. With every setback, one of your three lanterns shatters, and your chances of survival grow ever slimmer. You can always use the Item Box to store your items in case you fail on the field.
[h3]👹 New Elite Enemy: Hollow Mother[/h3]
A new type of anomaly has been discovered. Proceed with caution.
A new elite enemy has been added to the demo, appearing in one of the missions. Once a grieving mother, now a bloated husk twisted by cursed fog. Her rotting flesh oozes decay through pulsing holes. Slow but tough, she soaks up heavy damage—until death, when she explodes in a deadly burst of bile and bone. Be prepared and enjoy the thrill of facing against the Hollow Mother.

Train and learn all the basics before entering the field. 
New players can now learn from a new, updated B.R.I.M. manual before starting their investigations. You’ll complete several training sessions, such as movement, melee attacks, shooting, and more advanced mechanics. These exercises will help new agents get started with ease.
[h3]🔊 Proximity Voice Chat[/h3]
Working together by communicating in the field will increase your chances of survival. 
You can now use local voice chat to communicate with other agents. Additionally, there is equipment to help you stay in touch when you’re far apart when covering larger investigation areas.

Play the demo for free and invite your friends to play together as a team! You can now invite your friends on Steam to play with. Team up for a game session and enjoy a more exciting experience together
