Q: Will Kingdom Eighties have co-op?
Mariela — Kingdom Eighties will be a single-player game, with an exciting story behind 🙂
Q: How do i handle waiting for Kingdom Eighties?
Elisabeth — Tease your hair, park yourself in the sofa of your parents house, re-watch your favourite 80s flicks and get immersed in the vibe! You really need to channel your inner teen from the US & A in the 80's even if you're a zoomer from Scandinavia.

Q: Is Kingdom Eighties gonna be a new game or just a dlc
Mariela — Kingdom Eighties will be a single-player game, with an exciting story behind 🙂
Q: Will it have the same feel as other Kingdom games? (Same or similar gameplay)
- Are we going to be building walls out of trash (Bicycles, bricks, trash cans, metal parts, car wreck) or reinforced wood, or anything?
- Will there be same gameplay mechanic of exploring.
- Where wil lit be set? Outside the town? On the outskirts? A path into the woods that needs to be blocked by teenagers?
GordonVanDyke — Great question, short answer is yes, it will feel like a Kingdom game.
- Yes, but it’s not always the route or path yet still familiar.
- Yes, and more puzzles to figure things out.
- You travel to four unique locations.
Q: will 80’s be getting a switch port, and will a physical edition be available?
Fiona — Currently we're working towards a Steam release, making it the best experience possible. In the future we'll look at other platforms.
Q: will kingdom eighties be on mac
Fiona — Just Steam for now.
Q: Do you have plans on continuing development of Kingdom Eighties or will it basically be completely done after release? (after you fix all of those random bugs)
GordonVanDyke — Kingdom Eighties is a one off and won’t get new content in the same way as KTC.
Q: how is the kingdom eighties different from the usual series of the kingdom?
Elisabeth [RF] — Apart from the rad 80's setting, Kingdom Eighties is different in that it is a linear, narrative adventure. The game has a story and characters that you will get to know and collaborate with, and the levels will have their own identity and some unique challenges. The path we're taking with Eighties is something new that we wanted to try for the Kingdom series, and we're very excited to see what you think about it!
Q: Will Kingdom Eighties come to mobile platforms like the other versions?
Fiona — At this time we're working to release on Steam then will take a look at other platforms after. :)
Q: I've got a few questions regarding the balance of the game, firstly, is the balance finished/in a good place would you say?
GordonVanDyke — Yes and no, we have put in all the new gameplay features and now we’re interacting on them and making sure they’re fun.
Q: will there be new kinds of the greed?
GordonVanDyke — Yes, we’ve teased them already. 😊
Q: Since the first location is based off of Muir Woods & Mt. Tamalpais in the Bay Area in California, is it safe to say that the setting in Kingdom Eighties takes place in the Bay Area, or California at least?
GordonVanDyke — Yup, that’s correct. 😎
