[h2]Backpacks: Carry More, Raid Longer![/h2]

A wise adventurer knows that space is as valuable as steel. With backpacks, you can gather more loot, stockpile more supplies, and stay on the battlefield longer - no more retreating mid-raid because your pouches are overflowing!

Loot Drops – found in treasure chests and enemy caches.
Crafting – establish a Tailor and hunt wildlife for materials to craft superior bags.

A proper adventurer never leaves treasure behind!


[h2]Fishing: A Lifeline in Harsh Lands[/h2]

When crops fail and food runs scarce, turn to the waters! Fishing Huts provide a steady source of sustenance, ensuring your settlement remains well-fed even in the most barren landscapes.

Simply place a Fishing Hut near a body of water, assign workers, and let nature provide.


[h2]Biome Survival: Adapt or Perish[/h2]
Each biome in Darfall presents unique dangers and challenges. Wise rulers will learn to adapt their strategies to survive.

  • Lightning storms can ignite deadly wildfires.
  • Fire spreads dynamically, burning forests and buildings alike.
  • Establish firebreaks and prepare for sudden blazes!

  • Heatwaves slow workers and drain stamina.
  • Beer upgrade improves work efficiency - hydration, after all, is key to survival!
[h3]Swamps: A Maze of Mud[/h3]
  • Mud slows all units - use it to hinder enemies and fortify your defenses.
  • Roads improve movement, keeping workers efficient and armies mobile.


[h2]Tactical Enhancements: Smarter Combat, Better Formations[/h2]
Gone are the days of chaotic melees and units stacking on top of each other! Battles in Darfall now feel more strategic, more fluid, and more visually engaging.
[h3]Collider System – No More Clustering[/h3]
  • Melee units now hold proper spacing in combat.
  • Larger enemies (e.g., Rotting Colossus) feel more impactful with bigger collision sizes.

[h3]Unit Formations – Smarter Positioning[/h3]
  • Ranged units stay behind melee fighters, ensuring proper battle lines.
  • Better unit separation prevents overcrowding in fights.


[h2]Building Upgrades: Simple, Fast, Efficient[/h2]

No more hunting through endless menus for building upgrades!
Old System: Tedious UI navigation, scattered upgrades, and unnecessary complexity.
New System: Select a building → Instantly see all available upgrades → Upgrade with a single click!



[h2]The Final Wave: A Grand Finale Worthy of Legends[/h2]

The Final Wave, the last stand of your settlement, has been reforged into an unforgettable battle:

Countdown Timer – a one-day warning before the final attack.
Epic Ambiance – music, meteor showers, and intense screen effects.
Wave Tracking – the enemy’s location is now visible on the minimap, letting you reposition defenses before the storm hits.
A Proper Victory Celebration – after the last demon falls, you’ll have a moment to bask in glory before the victory screen.

Our artisans are tirelessly refining Darfall’s world, adding more environmental details, richer enemy camps, and a greater sense of history in every battlefield.

From orc fortresses with stronger defenses (and more heads on spikes!) to the Spider Queen’s lair teeming with eggs and webs, each enemy stronghold will feel more alive - and more dangerous.

0.13.3 Patch Available Now! (Demo)

the latest patch for Darfall is ready and released.

[h3]Improvements[/h3]
  • Survival: Casting two spells now executes both correctly
  • Survival: Frozen entities no longer move or play no animation when pushed back
  • Survival: Hero no longer plays attack animation without dealing damage or releasing a projectile
  • Survival: Workers prioritize better food such as bread for buffs
  • Survival: Tavern no longer blocks food buff
  • Scenario Editor: Added StrikeLightning, ToggleSpecialEffect, RemoveSpecialEffect and SpawnDemonMeteor actions


The previous patches also include:

  • Faster Progression – Economy adjustments make it easier to advance
  • 120+ New Items– Including the brand-new Rare (Blue) gear
  • Balanced Night Waves – Early nights are now more engaging
  • Difficulty Adjustment – Easy & Normal now last until Day 6, while Hard Mode remains a true test of survival

The playtest has been live for some time now, and we need your feedback! With all the changes we’ve implemented, we want to hear what you - the players - think.

  • Fixed: Water is missing when loading from game save on some non-english PCs. Please note, the saves already without water cannot be fixed
  • Fixed: Using spell while harvesting resources caused not playing animation on hero
