You can be stabbed from across the map in Warzone 2 at the moment

Picture this: it's the second-to-last circle in Al Mazrah, you're deep in Sa'id City with one plate to your name, and you're on for a winner. Now, we can't think of anything that would ruin this situation more than being hit with one of the best Warzone 2 sniper rifles from some unseen rooftop - well, expect for one thing. Warzone 2 players are able to knife one another from across Al Mazrah now, without even looking at them. Yeah, that would be a little worse, wouldn't it?

If you're sitting there reading this in disbelief, shock even, that such a thing could be possible in a battle royale shooter protected by Ricochet Anti-Cheat systems, we have some footage you're going to want to look at.

Shared online by the unfortunate 'AndrewEffteeyay', the Warzone 2 gameplay clip shows them looting a Duffel Bag cache in Sawah Village - inside a building - before being knifed by another player somewhere else on the map - on the roof of a building.

Everything about Warzone 2's DMZ Building 21 is just underwhelming

We know it's nigh-on impossible to meet everyone's expectations all of the time, especially when it comes to the community of players built around the Call of Duty franchise, but the new Building 21 feature for Warzone 2 DMZ is easily the most underwhelming gaming experience the franchise has put out - and we're worried that this is a sign of what's to come following the equally underwhelming Atomgrad raid.

If you want to know why we think this experience is underwhelming, you're in the right place; we have a couple of reasons why we think Call of Duty needs to step things up if it's going to retain its' player base throughout this particular title's lifetime. We know this has the potential to be one of the best battle royale games out there - DMZ included - but it's not going to be easy against titans like Fortnite and Apex Legends.

Firstly, we need to talk about the fact that the Warzone 2 DMZ Building 21 location was presented to us - the players - as something of a secret. Throughout the build up to this feature's release, the term "redacted" was used in abundance and players were led to believe that this mysterious new location was hiding exclusively in DMZ's Al Mazrah.

Raven Software enable Warzone 2 loadout drops in Christmas miracle

If you were planning on dropping into Al Mazrah - alone or in a squad - this holiday season, Raven Software has something of a present for you. From December 20, for the foreseeable future, Warzone 2 loadout drops are back. We know, it really is something of a Christmas miracle, isn't it?

We know you may be reading this and thinking that this is all some sick joke, like coal in your stocking or chocolate covered sprouts, but we're not kidding. Raven Software has just announced that players will be able to buy a Loadout Drop Grenade from buy stations across Al Mazrah to get instant access to all the best Warzone 2 loadouts and the best Warzone 2 guns without the need to clear a Stronghold or wait for the game's midpoint.

This is, of course, without a doubt, truly fantastic news. It's what we have all been waiting for, really, and makes levelling all those weapons up on Shipment 24/7 finally worthwhile. However, as always, there's something of a catch when it comes to the new Loadout Drop Grenade item.
