Between Two Worlds News

Hey, Adventurers! Just a quick note to let you know that we are on schedule to do the Chapter 9 release on time! The update will go live at about 12pm PDT, 7pm UTC, on Thursday the 12th. I hope you're ready to head back to Euchora!

Also, I've started the very early work on the follow-up project for Between Two Worlds. This next project will actually take us back into the history of Euchora, showing us what happened between Alora and Alorine and how we got to where we are today. Early character designs are now set, and I can give you some previews.

First, meet Celestine. She is your sister in Euchora, and she's really not your biggest fan.



Next, this is Isabella. She is your sister's best friend, and the primary reason that Celestine doesn't like you much. You keep getting caught with her in... compromising situations.



Finally, we see a younger and not yet fully corrupted Alorine. She actually has eyes!



My focus is set on finishing Between Two Worlds. You don't need to worry about me splitting attention between two projects. I was only able to get these done because I was waiting on results from the beta test team with Chapter 9. But with the upcoming conclusion of this branch of the story, I look forward to enhancing that story and bringing us more lore and beautiful ladies to explore!

Hello, everyone! It's time for an update and the long awaited release schedule! After a successful initial alpha test, I've been able to really dig down and push through a LOT of work. I actually wrote the single largest scene in the entire game, which will be in Chapter 9! It has been an amazing few weeks, and I'm incredibly motivated right now. It feels good!

So, what to expect. I believe that primary art and animation work will be done the weekend of the 23rd. I will then shift my focus over to doing the music and sounds, which typically takes a few days at least. Beta testing will be begin no later than the 30th. Allowing time for revisions, corrections, etc, the release date will likely be....



I must say that this is preliminary and subject to change. I do not foresee it changing, but in a live development situation, it's possible. Also, if I manage to be faster, then it is entirely possible that the update will release earlier! Thank you all for your continued support and I look forward to hearing what you think of Chapter 9!

Just as a final note, I know that this update has been considerably longer than the previous ones. I apologize for that. It has been difficult due to having to set it up for the grand finale. Thankfully, since I know exactly where Chapter 10 is going, it will be a bit easier. The only downside is that I need to make a bunch of endings, along with variations within those endings. That being said, I don't expect Chapter 10 to take nearly as long as Chapter 9 did.

Hey, everyone! Just dropping by with some news and some new art for you! First, the news.

As of now, writing for Chapter 9 is functionally complete. It is undergoing review by my team for things like grammar, spelling, continuity, etc, but the writing is essentially done. Translators are on it as well. This is big because I can now focus entirely on the art and animation! I'm happy and excited to say that Chapter 9 is starting to wrap up! There is a lot happening in this update, including some events that fans of the game have been begging for since the very first release. In addition, there is some significant character growth that will have major impact in the final events of the game.

It has been a long and hard road, but the light at the end of the tunnel has appeared! There will be one final update in the near future that will include the planned release date, so keep an eye out!

Now, how about some new art? I have three new special renders for you all. One of Hannah, one of Emily, and one with Hannah and Skylar. As always, there are also links to download the images directly if you want. Let me know what you think of them! I do these partially to work on new techniques in the art, and it's nice to get feedback from you!

One last note! A friend of mine has just launched their game on Steam after several years of working on it. The game is fully completed and on sale right now with their launch. Check it out and see if it might be something you're interested in!

Hello, everyone! Those of you who happen to watch SteamDB for changes might have noticed activity on the beta branch for the game tonight. That's because I uploaded the alpha build for Chapter 9 for my beta testers to start working on! While this is a big step toward getting the update into your hands, I do not have a date yet to provide to you for completion. There's still plenty of work to be done!
