[Enemies and Kill Points]

- Regularly Appearing Enemies: Stronger enemies appear at regular intervals.

- Earning Kill Points: Earn Kill Points by eliminating monsters depending on their level.

- Rank Placement Priority: In the event of a tie in Kill Points, the user who registered their rank first will be ranked higher.


[Employee Deployment]

- Deployment Range Increase: All ally employees have increased deployment ranges.

- Deployment Restrictions: Each employee can only be deployed 1 time.


[Difficulty Increase Over Time]

- Hitstun Immunity: All enemy units gain Immunity to Hitstun 1 minute after the battle starts.

- Outgoing Healing Decrease (1st): All units are inflicted with Outgoing Healing -60% 1 minute 30 seconds after the battle starts.

- Outgoing Healing Decrease (2nd): All units are inflicted with Outgoing Healing -80% 2 minutes after the battle starts.

- DMG Increase: Enemy units' damage increases by 100% 2 minutes 30 seconds after the battle starts.

In this month's Dev Notes, we'll provide more details about the upcoming Origin 2nd Anniversary broadcast and the upcoming updates.

Thanks to your unwavering support, CounterSide is celebrating Origin 2nd Anniversary. To commemorate this special occasion, we will host a live stream on Friday, February 7 (UTC+9), during which we will answer your questions directly.

The CounterSide Origin 2nd Anniversary live stream will be broadcast on the official CounterSide KR channel. Please note that the live stream will be conducted in Korean.

However, for our global CEOs, we will be providing English subtitles and uploading English versions of all images used during the broadcast to the official CounterSide Global channel as soon as possible.



We understand that many of you have felt distant because the previous broadcasts were pre-recorded. We felt the same way, not being able to interact directly with our CEOs.

When I first started filming these broadcasts, I expressed concern about conducting a live stream due to my lack of experience. However, after the interactions at the AGF (Anime Game Festival) and witnessing the immense love and affection for CounterSide, we decided to host a live stream for the Origin 2nd Anniversary.

While this is the first live stream, we will do our best to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone.

During the live stream, we will be sharing updates on the Origin 2nd Anniversary and future updates for CounterSide.

Therefore, we apologize for this month’s dev notes being shorter than usual.

We will also hold a Q&A session during the livestream to answer your questions.

[h3][ Ranked Battle ][/h3]

Following our previous dev notes on potential improvements to the Ranked Battle, we have received a lot of valuable feedback from our CEOs.

One specific concern that was raised was the unlimited point acquisition system, which could negatively impact the competitive environment for top-tier CEOs.

To address this, we're considering a system where the deletion of points deducted upon losses will only apply to certain leagues.

For higher-ranked leagues, we plan to increase the points deducted for losses and introduce a system where CEOs who don't play a certain number of matches per week will have their points reduced.

Additionally, we are exploring various options to improve the overall experience, such as adjusting the starting points for new seasons and adjusting the point and league systems and rewards.

While we expect these changes to be implemented in the next Gauntlet season, please note that the specific details are still under discussion and may be subject to change.

We will provide a more detailed update in our February or March dev notes.



[h3][ Awakened Employee Exclusive Gear ][/h3]

Alongside the upcoming Awakened employee, we are introducing Awakened employee Exclusive gear.

Our goal is to create Exclusive gear for all future Awakened employees, starting with next Awakened employee. We are currently considering the possibility of releasing Exclusive gear for existing Awakened employees as well.

Awakened employee Exclusive gear can be obtained directly from the Substream's hard difficulty with a very low drop rate. The overall performance of this new gear is designed to be comparable to tier 7 Relic Gear.

Unlike existing Exclusive gear for Normal employees, this will include weapon, armor, and accessories, providing more flexibility in customizing your employees.


[h3][ Consortium Coalition Buff ][/h3]

Many CEOs have requested improvements to the Consortium Coalition Buff.

We understand that the current time-limited nature of the buff places a burden on CEOs who serve as an Executive.

To address this, we have made several adjustments. First, on January 21, we significantly reduced the cost of activating the buff.

Furthermore, in February, we will be introducing 3-day and 7-day buff options to provide CEOs with more flexibility.

We believe these changes will help CEOs achieve more effective growth.
