Patch 1.26 Preview

As the speed of completing the Ritual varies greatly among players of different levels, we added an offering amount option in room settings so that players can adjust the number of offerings according to their needs and game pace.

Besides, we noticed that the behavior of the Possessed still cannot meet our expectations. Thus, this update includes some balance adjustments for Possessed together with some function optimizations.

Details are as followed.

[h3]Balance:[/h3]
● The prices of Wooden Bat, Corrupted Crystal Core, Bird and Amulet of Telepathy decrease to 10.
● The evil energy gain of using one Corrupted Crystal Core increases to 25.
【Possessed energy recharge adjustment】
● The evil energy retained from not killing anyone during Crimson Dream increases from 75 to 85.
● Possessed now can gain more evil energy per second.
● Transformed Possessed can no longer gain evil energy during Crimson Dream.

[h3]Function optimization:[/h3]
● Curse Skull now becomes recharged ability. Curse energy will be fully recharged every 90 seconds(maximum accumulate 3 times). Curse Skull is removed from the shop.
This adjustment aims for helping the Possessed play against the Survivors more easily.
● Room settings: added offering amount selection.
【Adjustments for Amulet of Telepathy】
● The player who owns Amulet of Telepathy cannot be traced.
● Amulet of Telepathy can prevent the owner from being cursed once. It will be broken after this prevention.
● Notification will pop up when Amulet of Telepathy is broken.
● Shapeshifter can shift during Crimson Dream.
● The action of placing the Lantern and the Bird has been sped up.

[h3]Arts:[/h3]
● Added a cloud of smoke at the place where the Possessed disappeared after teleportation.
● Added a cyclic screen image effect during the period of Shapeshifter shift to other players.

[h3]Bug fixes:[/h3]
● Fixed a bug that the invisible player becomes visible when Crimson Dream starts.
● Fixed a bug that players can be seen through chests.
● Fixed a bug that the player can trigger the effect of Corrupted Crystal Core several times.

Patch 1.25 Notes

Patch 1.24 Preview

To make the gameplay more diverse and playful, we design a new occupation, “Shapeshifter”, for the Possessed.

Besides, based on the recent feedback from our players, we have noticed that it is a bit hard to gather 8 players to start a game. Thus, we decided to come up with a beginner mode. In this mode, only 5 players are needed to start a game.

More details are as follows.

[h2]New features:[/h2]
● New Possessed occupation: Shapeshifter.
Shapeshifter can shift to any player in the game (including Shapeshifter) at any time. After updating this version, each game will have two Possessed with Teleport and Shift abilities respectively. The Possessed with Shift ability will not be able to teleport after Crismon Dream.

● New Beginner mode: Only 5 players are needed to start the game.
1. Survivors need to complete 4 rounds of Ritual. The number of offerings needed by each round is reduced respectively.
2. The result of the first discussion is execution instead of tie-up.
3. There are four Survivors and one Possessed(with teleport ability).
4. Certain items are not allowed to be sold in this mode.

[h2]Balance: [/h2]
● The amount of Faith gained from Consecration and Desecration decreases from 16 to 12.
● The amount of Faith gained from completing the Ritual decreases from 8 to 0.
● The price of backpack increases from 15 to 20.
● The price of EMF increases from 10 to 15.
● The price of Corrupted Crystal Core decreases from 20 to 15.

[h2]Function optimization:[/h2]
● Players can hold nothing in their hand by scrolling the mouse pulley
● Possessed are allowed to use items at the interval between the end of Crismon Dream and the start of Dawn.

[h2]Bug fixes:[/h2]
● Fixed a bug that the Possessed suddenly put their hands down during the process of transforming
● Fixed a bug that the duration of scene switching from voting result to execution animation is too long
● Fixed a bug that players cannot mark their location during the discussion
● Fixed a display bug that microphone icons of all players start flashing when someone clicks the ready button

Hello, survivors! Thank you all for support to this game. And now we’re bring back more updates! This patch update will cover many issues that everyone cares about recently, including new features, game optimization, etc.

Proximity chat
Developer Comments: Players now can hear all other players voices, which brings a lot of pressure on the Possessed. With too many players speaking at the same time, it’s hard for everyone to enjoy the game. Therefore, we decided to use proximity voice chat instead of regular voice chat.

Wooden bat now can be used to attack Possessed during Crimson Dream.

Added word filter in the game.

Announcement board added.

Added special effects for Corrupted Crystal Core.

Descriptive information about each room is now shown.

[h2]Bug fixes[/h2]
Fixed a bug that candles in Activity Room have the incorrect texture.

Fixed a bug that the volume of the microphone shows incorrectly.

Fixed a bug that Crystal ball will not be expended after being used.

Fixed a bug that the Possessed will be stuck after killing someone.

Fixed a bug that Possessed can gain full energy after killing with Satan's Blood

Fixed a bug that using Possessed voice chat can be heard by all players.

Fixed a bug that Possessed can not move after jumping from the second floor.

Find the event you want to join base on your timezone. Click Intersted and add it to your calendar.After the event starts, players can go to the corresponding event channel to invite players, or wait for other players to invite.During the event, you can choose to become the room owner or wait for the room owner to invite you into the game. After the room owner creates a room, please send the room number to the corresponding channel of Discord and wait for other teammates to join.
