After a few days of intense clashes in the far future, we have some preliminary data for the second public demo of Warhammer 40.000: Warpforge, which we thought to share with you.
Between practice and multiplayer matches, the newly added Sautekh Dynasty have been more succesful at conquering the battlefield, averaging a 53.1% winrate across the board. They should not get too complacent though, both of the other available factions are following their steps very closely. the heroes of the Ultramarines were succesful in 50.6% of their missions, while the mighty Orks from the Goff Clan scrapped a nice 47.9% of victories in their matches. So far the turn order has made an impact, with 56.5% of players who go first winning their matches, but it's a lower percentage than during the previous demo. This is still one of the key points we aim to adjust in the future.
Unsurprisingly, during the start of the demo, the new Sautekh Dynasty has been the most popular factions among players, with a 50% use rate. Following the trend of the previous demo, the Ultramarines are still ahead of the Goff Orks in terms of popularity, with the great warriors of the Imperium achieving a 26% use rate, compared to the cunning Orks' 24%.
Taking a look at specific characters, Nemesor Zandrekh reigns supreme with a mighty 57.7% winrate, and his 18.2% use rate comes only second to Imotekh the Stormlord, who has become the most popular Warlord of the demo so far with a 20.8% of usage. Marneus Calgar and the mighty Ghazghkull Thrakka still hold their ground with a very good 53.4% and 51.9% win rates respectively. Grukk Face-Rippa has unfortunately become the Warlord that sees the least amount of success on the battlefield, with a below average 45.1% winrate.
Using this in combination with other data points, we will be able to adjust the power level of both of our factions and the ones that will be introduced moving forward.
