Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge News

Take command of the armies of the Black Legion or become the Despoiler of Worlds himself! The Black Legion is now available to play in the new Warhammer 40.000: Warpforge demo.

Pushed by fury and vengeance, Abaddon the Despoiler and his Black Legion have built up a legacy of terror not only among the inhabitants of the Galaxy, but also among their warptainted kin. Over the millennia that passed after the Horus Heresy, Abaddon gathered the scattered forces of Chaos under his banner.

The Black Legion is now known to vastly outnumber the numerous infernal armies that dwell in the Eye of Terror, even those of the other Traitor Legions. It is safe to say that this brotherhood of black-hearted killers is one of the largest menaces not only to the Imperium, but to the Galaxy itself.

The Black Legion has started spreading the ruinous influence of the Gods of Chaos in the new Warhammer 40.000: Warpforge demo!

Besides the new Black Legion and draft mode coming into the Warpforge demo, there are also changes to the behaviour of some of the game's traits. Take a look at the complete list of changes:
● Vanguard now protects your other units from both Melee and Ranged attacks, not only from Melee ones
● Blind now reduces a unit’s Ranged Attack to zero until the end of its next turn
● Blast now deals damage to units adjacent to the target when attacking with both Melee and Ranged attacks (instead of only Ranged)
● Flying units can now be targeted by Melee attacks coming from other Flying units. They can still be attacked by Ranged attacks from both Flying and non-Flying units.
● Pin Down is no longer used. It has been replaced by Stun

A new Warhammer 40.000: Warpforge demo is now live, with a whole new faction to command and a new game mode to play in!

Warhammer 40.000: Warpforge returns for a limited time as part of the Digital Tabletop Fest on Steam, with a demo that will be running from March 23rd to March 27th! The Black Legion joins the game with Abaddon the Despoiler, Warmaster, leading the forcces of Chaos into battle. Download the demo to discover the new mechanics and stratagems that the Black Legion brings to the battlefield.

Make sure to also try the new Draft Mode, now available for all players who unlock it by earning a victory in a multiplayer game. Choose a Warlord, build your deck on the spot by selecting the randomly offered card packages and command your unique creation into the battlefield! Try to complete a 12-victory run! If you're defeated three times the run will be over, and you will need to start again with a new deck, so never underestimate an enemy!

Warhammer 40.000: Warpforge will be taking part in Steam's Digital Tabletop Fest: Blood & Dice with a new demo! The demo will be available for all from March 23rd to March 27th, with a whole new faction to command into battle and a brand new game mode to play.
