Lovely Realmers!


It's that time of the year again when love even finds its way into Realm of the Mad God. Our Servers have received some new names in the server overview and in addition to the mentioned things down below, we have optimized the performance and loading time of the friend and guild list. Have a look at our upcoming Valentine's Event and Bounty, the new Season including a brand new Battle Pass and Missions, and the new “Playing Now” Panel.

[h2]Valentines Event[/h2]

One more month and we will finally be able to celebrate the start of spring and hopefully let the cold days behind us for a while. In Realm, you will already be able to enjoy some of the spring feelings. The Valentine’s Event brings to you some angry flowers that need to be reminded of what climate we currently have outside.
The Valentine’s Event starts on the 7th of February after the release and ends on the 21st of February at 12 UTC.
During the event’s duration, The Gardener will be guaranteed in the Realm, opening a way to Belladonna's Garden. For the duration of the event, we also added new loot you can receive from the Realm Encounter and Belladonnas:

A new weekend begins right before we jump into February. The last time you were able to have a look at the newest dungeon coming to Realm of the Mad God, now it's time to have a look at the next season, Missions and Battle Pass. Additionally, you can also have a first glance at the “Playing Now” panel feature. Let's have a look.

Some of you may remember our Into Shards and Pieces Event. The last one happened in May and its now time to introduce the IV version of the event to you.

With the recent heightened activity in Steamworks, the factory has been working in overdrive, which has caused quite a lot of pollution. Thankfully one kogbolds trash is another realmer's treasure. Be sure to collect the shards that have spread to several dungeons.
Events

Toxic Sewers

The Toxic Sewers are going to always spawn with the guaranteed dungeon mod: Found Treasure! I. Additionally Gulport the Slime God has a chance to drop 2x Shard of the Advisor.

Mountain Temple

The Mountain Temple has a 30% Chance to spawn with the : Guaranteed Stat Potion Mod.
Daichi the Fallen has a chance to drop 3x Shard of the Doorwarden.

Mad Lab

Next up is the Mad Lab. It also has a 30% chance to spawn with the Guaranteed Stat Potion Mod. Dr Terrible has a chance to drop 1x Shard of the Mad God.
The Third Dimension

The Third Dimension is always going to spawn with the Generious Mod. (10% chance for a Quest Chest)
Tesseract Goddess has a chance to drop 1x Shard of the Intern.

Today we have some amazing news to share with everyone. Over the past years and months, we got a lot of feedback regarding our RotMG Launcher. From the Newsposts not including pictures to CPU usage of the Launcher itself.

The Team has worked hard on improving some of the things sent to us and we are happy to finally announce it.

[h2]Changes[/h2]

• The Launcher News is now able to display pictures
  
• Links to Realmeye and Instagram are now added to the dropdown menu.
  
• The sound on the Launcher is now toggleable
  
• A new button to contact Customer Support can be found in the Launcher
  
• Implemented a Progress Bar Indicator when joining the game
  

[h2]Fixes[/h2]

• Fixed the server status banner where it was disappearing if the user opens and closes the news
  
• Fixed several issues regarding memory and CPU usage
  

While this is not everything that we have planned for the launcher, this should already be a great starting point. (Looking at you CPU usage)
