While it is not Month of the Mad God yet, you can soon be part of an unprecedented event dedicated to lore, and namely the lore of The Shatters. Remember what has been forgotten, and exchange knowledge for power…

Ancient scrolls have been unearthed, revealing glimpses of the history of the Shattered Kingdom and the inner workings of its Royal Court right before the Kingdom’s collapse. Twenty of them will gradually become able to be found by enterprising adventurers in selected dungeons and the Realm. Collecting these scraps of history will be rewarded by the everpresent Tinkerer with peculiar artifacts of the Shattered Kingdom itself.

This is a minor update, but don’t be fooled by the name. It brings important changes that will affect the way you play and enjoy RotMG. Well, at least for those of you who are really interested in the lore and overall narrative of the game. Some things will start to make more sense now, as a new chapter unfolds in the Mad God’s story.

Thank Oryx It’s Friday! In a lovely conversation with our Testers and UGC members, we came up with a series of things that might indicate you have been playing a bit of RotMG. How many of these can you relate to?

1. You have a worn out R key;
   
2. You have a notable affinity for “keys”;
   
3. When you mention “PPE”, the first thing you think of isn’t personal protective equipment;
   
4. You always check the white bags that arrive from the grocery store. You never know;
   
5. You have a love – hate relationship with DECA. (We love you, tho.);
   
6. You have seen Niegil die once or twice;
   
7. Trying to max out characters and being extra careful with them in any other game, despite it not; being permadeath, nor meant for grinding;
   
8. You have a pet named Oryx;
   
9. You organize a night out with friends through Discord and call it a “run”;
   
10. You end up staying home because there’s still a pandemic going on…

My in-game name is Volvax I am from Romania and I am 30 years old. My job currently at Deca Games is a Data Analyst within the Business Intelligence team. My main job is to ensure data integrity, cleaning, and extraction. The idea behind this is to listen to the data in order to make informed decision for the game, its features, and new additions.

Today we are once more opening our Testing servers to you guys! During this weekend you will be able to run Oryx 3 and Lost Halls easily since we will spawn portals in Nexus for you. You will also have access to the usual gear to help you out. We hope you have a nice training session and defeat them all.
