Update 2.1.0.0 - Halloween

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Spooky Realmers,
Halloween is one of our favorite seasons of the year and we wanted to give you something special. While the development team has been dedicating their time to fixing bugs and making the game more secure for you, the LiveOps team worked hard to bring you the new Bazaar and some exciting Campaign, Events, Quests and spooky ST reskins!

The Grand Bazaar
Not only dungeons get reconstructed. We are very pleased to announce that the old Cloth Bazaar was completely remodeled and expanded to fit its new grandeur, it’s now called the Grand Bazaar! We want to encourage you to use this space for trading or simply hang out. Now you will find sections for pets (with food, eggs, and pet skins); blacksmith (ores, nilshards, and blueprints); cosmetics (character skins, dyes, and cloths); rings, and one section for each class. We know that some of you like to meet in the Bazaar with your friends to open your favorite dungeons, so we made 4 thematic rooms that were designed just with this purpose. Give it a try!

Check out the complete release notes at the blog.

13 days of headhunting: choose your bounty!

Hello Realmers,

The bosses at the Godlands have all become a little bit madder since MotMG. With Halloween approaching the veils between the realms have become thinner, messing even more with their heads. For the next 13 days, we’ll need your help containing the madness. And the best part? You might be picked to get the bounty you chose!

The event will last from today, October 15th, to October 27th.

Remember those Make-a-wish raffle events that we used to have? Well, today we are starting something very similar, but with a twist to give you more chances to win. It’s still very easy to participate, check out how at the blog post, and let the Headhunt begin!

Janus event?

Howdy Realmers,

The Realm Eye says that “Oryx, in a drunken stupor, pulled the door leading to the court out of the stone walls and breathed sinister life into it, turning it into Janus the Doorwarden.”. That means that canonically, Janus was animated by Oryx’s alcoholic breath. Think of that what you will. While you are considering whether Janus must be at least a little bit boozed at all times or if he is immune to alcohol, read up on what’s going on this weekend:

All Court of Oryx dungeons (High Tech Terror, Cnidarian Reef, Lair of Shaitan, Secluded Thicket, Puppet Master’s Encore) will have a 1.5x loot and XP multiplier from Friday, October 8 at 12:00 PM UTC until Tuesday, October 12, 12:00 PM UTC. Time to get an E.Y.E.!

Janus, who is obviously two-faced, is too unreliable to drop an Event Chest and the loot will fall directly out of his, hm, pockets. From Friday, October 8 at 12:00 PM UTC until Tuesday, October 12, 12:00 PM UTC, Janus the Doorwarden will have the chance to drop the following items:

Update 2.0.4.0 - The Shatters and a Bounty

Hello Realmers,

Although we called it “The Shatters Tweaks”, this update brings a lot more to the table. We have reduced the loading times and worked on other bug fixes, improved the usability, and did some changes to the loot distribution (no Krathan’s Gift jokes allowed!). And answering all the requests we got on Discord… yes, Sadamune is now tradeable as meant to be!.
At the end of the blog post, you'll find a little bounty that gives you the opportunity to claim some very cool rewards. Enjoy!

Check it out now!

Open Testing this weekend with Shatters and O3
Hello Realmers,
We have that big free O3 event starting on Monday and you probably didn’t take the time yet to properly practice, right? As much as you may want to go into those Discord runs with your mates, there’s an easier way. This weekend on Testing, Oryx Sanctuary is going to pop up in the Nexus every other minute. It’s going to be alternating with The Shatters. And yes, The Shatters will have the much-requested nerfs you’ve been asking for. But the changes and fixes won’t be a Shatters exclusive, O3 will have important fixes to its stability that we need to test.
So gather the same mates you were going to make those Discord runs with, and do it in Testing. We actually need large groups to test both the Sanctuary and The Shatters. The Shop will have all the items you’ll need to properly test and enjoy both dungeons.
Another important aspect we are testing is the loading time. How long does it take you to get into the testing environment? Is it better than the actual game? Let us know in the comments down below.
Oh, and although you’ll see the Halloween Nexus in place, know that this will not be Nexus present on the next release. It’s there for testing purposes only.
Here are the changes you can expect on The Shatters:
• Reduced base HP to varying degrees on all standard/accursed dungeon enemies (as always we’ll continue keeping an eye on things to hit that balance of challenge and pacing)
 • Added a unique sprite for the Stone Paladin’s special super attack (and the accursed counterpart)
 • Reduced the damage of the Stone Gargoyle (+ accursed variant) paralyzing slash attacks and buffed the damage of its special boulder blast
 • Changed the projectile sprite of the Accursed Stone Gargoyle special attack to be more visually fitting
 • Tweaked the Fire Bomb animation to be more obvious and fluid
 • Added a blue shield icon to players when being granted invincibility via village teleporters to clarify you are safe for a few moments
 • Increased the circling range slightly on Fire Adepts and their Accursed variants.
 • Increased the drop rate for Defiled Equilibrium on mage enemies.

To enter the Testing Environment, you’ll need to select “Testing” on the top-right menu of the launcher. You’ll need a different account for Testing, so keep that in mind. If you don’t have one, please create it as you would normally do.
