Embark on an immersive journey through the neon-lit realms of Go Mecha Ball, where players engage in dynamic twin-stick shooter combat, executing acrobatic maneuvers across vibrant 3D platforms with pinball-style physics. Soaring above the chaos, players can boost up ramps, bounce off lively bumpers, or ride the updraft from giant fans, incorporating a layer of dynamic movement into their chosen strategy as they face waves of destructive robot enemies, colossal bosses and arcade-like obstacles.

Players can unleash the power of four distinct gun-wielding mechs, each with its own unique arsenal of weapons, abilities, and upgrades that can be added between runs for roguelike progression through vivid and exciting levels. Utilise over 25 tools for mass destruction, and explore the ways that more than 20 quirky abilities customise the experience of each gun-toting run across four visually stunning worlds full of enemies and challenges.

Go Mecha Fans! We're looking for Playtesters!! 📢

This weekend (October 20th-23rd) we are going to be running a playtest for Go Mecha Ball. This will be a very limited group of users here in the discord. Our goal is to look for feedback from a concentrated team of avid fans! (We might expand the playtest a little longer if we need to find some more data 🤓)

All playtesters will get a special role and be credited in the final game! You'll also be asked to sign an NDA as it is incredibly important that content from the playtest is not shared publicly.

Hey there, Ballers! Great to see everyone enjoying the demo, it's really rather heartwarming to experience after years of hard work. We also unfortunately noticed that some users ran into problems on Steam Deck, with the game appearing to download instantly and only taking up 0kb. To fix this, you need to:

- Go to the Go Mecha Ball page in your Steam library
- Open the Settings menu via the cogwheel icon on the far right edge of the screen next to the controller icon
- Select "Properties..."
- Go to the Compatiblity tab
- Enable "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool
- Open Proton pulldown and select Proton Experimental
- Go back out to the Go Mecha Ball page, and an update should start downloading
- If the update does not start right away, press the update button to start it
- If the update button is greyed out, leave the Go Mecha Ball game page and reopen it to enable the update button
- Once the update is installed, the game should run
