Settle into a house, make more pizzas, and explore a little more in the 0.15.0 demo update!

[h2]House[/h2]
A house is now available for purchase! Once you've moved in, you can customize it to your liking with flooring, wall paint, and furniture.



[h2]Pizza[/h2]
All levels for the pizza job have been unlocked, with pay raises and new pizzas for each level passed.



[h2]Environment[/h2]
Some of the dirt backroads have been opened up. The area of the demo environment is now approximately 5% of the full game environment that will be available in Early Access.



[h2]Pawn shop[/h2]
An option to sell items to the pawn shop has been added. There have also been some changes made to the stock available for purchase.

More content and revisions are included in the new 0.14.0 demo update as we move closer to the Early Access release of Denizen!

[h2]Missions[/h2]
The quest/mission framework has been overhauled to allow for NPC storylines that include multiple missions. There has been a new mission added to the demo that you can access by visiting the new NPC's safehouse in town.



[h2]Forklift[/h2]
As part of the new mission, you can try out the new forklift vehicle. In the Early Access release of Denizen, you can work as a forklift operator in a larger warehouse.



[h2]Body shop[/h2]
You can now take your car to the local body shop for repair, paint, and window tint. Paint your car in any color you like with a solid, metallic, or matte finish.



[h2]Used car dealership[/h2]
The used car dealership is in business! Stop by and pick from a selection of used automobiles. In the Early Access release of Denizen, there will be several additional dealerships to visit in the city.



[h2]Hacking and lockpicking[/h2]
Hacking and lockpicking minigames have been added. These minigames are used in some missions and other parts of the game.



[h2]Break-ins and looting[/h2]
Some buildings in the demo environment can now be broken into and looted using lockpicks acquired from the pawn shop.



[h2]Radio stations[/h2]
Radio stations have been added to vehicles. These will be built upon in future updates to add commercials, hosted intermissions, and more music.



[h2]Interaction states[/h2]
The state of light switches, doors, and some other entities in residences now persists through saving and loading.



[h2]Other content[/h2]

Another demo update! This update adds new features and fixes to the demo while development of the Early Access version of Denizen continues.

[h2]Traffic and pedestrians[/h2]
Road traffic has been added! There have also been major revisions to the pedestrian AI logic and physics.



[h2]Cinematics[/h2]
You now get to see more of your character with the new interaction cinematics for events such as using the washroom and drinking at the sink, water fountain, and bar.

Many other fixes and tweaks have been made, including:

Hello again! Another update is now available for the Denizen demo. This update contains some important fixes and improvements to bring the demo closer in line with the current state of the Early Access build.

[h2]0.11.0[/h2]
The 0.11.0 demo update is now available! This update includes new content in addition to many refinements to gameplay and visuals listed below. As development of the Early Access version of Denizen continues, there will be further updates to the playable demo.

[h2]Retail[/h2]
The new retail feature has been added which allows you to rent a property and open your own business. Stock up on wholesale consumer goods from the local warehouse and manage your store to maximize profits. To access this new feature, simply press the "R" key to open the new retail management interface.

In the Early Access version of Denizen, there will be additional stores to rent, each with a unique design, product inventory capacities, and customer traffic. This means you can create your own stores to fit your choice of brand and shopping experience.



[h2]Visuals[/h2]
Lighting and graphics have undergone a significant overhaul to enhance the overall visual experience, while the rural city environment has been given more character through a complete revamp. Continued progress has been made on the rest of the game map, including the downtown district that will be accessible in the Early Access release.



[h2]Bar[/h2]
Stop by the new local bar to unwind after a long day of work. Have a drink and try your luck at the blackjack table!



[h2]Other content[/h2]
The new clinic location offers a selection of medications and medical operations to help you manage your needs. Fuel consumption has been added to vehicles, in addition to a speedometer and fuel gauge. You can now refuel your car at the gas station.



There have also been many bug fixes and tweaks made in this update. A character creation feature was introduced in a recent unannounced update as well!
