Meet Adoka

Adoka is a Mephalin (squidperson), one of the first faces you come across after arriving on the island chain. She runs the Blue Lagoon Bar and knows how to make a mean Mai Tai and many other specialty drinks. Be sure to check in with her often to help with quests but watch out that you keep work talk to a minimum.

Adoka is a free-spirited kind of gal and believes that conflicts can always be solved with a good drink and a chat. She’s never a fan of fighting or chaos unless the chaos is of the kinky variety.

When she’s not tending bar, you can sometimes find her working on her tan down by the beach.

Progress Report

It's been a while since I talked about the game here. I need to get better about that. Good news first, we have broken well over 50 scenes in the game, each with unique art and writing. The story is coming along smoothly and we have now made it to the end of Island 2. That means that the road to Island 3 (the final planned) island is open.

I'm working on the story for that pretty much each day, but the first priority is finishing up some content for side characters. First on the list is Alexis, the researcher. I always planned to go back and add more to her story, and it's finally time for me to do that.

I am firm in my belief that the game will be at least in Early Access or completed before the end of 2023. As I noted, Island 3 is the last planned island. It will bring the story to an end, but if we want to, we can totally expend the endgame content with more sidequests and companion-based events.

That is about it. As you might have guessed, we have now hit 3500 Wishlisters, which is truly awesome to think about. I remember just how excited I got when we reached 1000, so this was great news when I saw it last week. Thanks to all of you who have added it, and I hope to make more posts like this as 2023 continues.

Vynore is a rebel without a cause. Well she's not even a rebel, unless you count rebels against working. Always up for taking a load off, this sexy Yokaru is constantly between jobs and looking for her next big break.

In Vynore's mind, there is nothing wrong with finding a good friend who will take care of all your needs, including those financial and physical. She's more than happy to leave the heavy lifting to Yokaru like her sister. If you asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up, she'd probably reply with one word.

Comfortable.

Will you lend her a hand and give her a roof over her head? Or will you stay clear of her talent for mooching?

Perluun is mysterious, even after you start getting to know her. You meet the quiet woman listening to music and just enjoying a drink at the bar on the first island. Be sure to pay attention, and she might open up.

The polite Moonelf has many secrets, and they’re weighing heavily on her mind. Will you help her, or is she too untrustworthy to rely on? If you join her path, just remember to be patient with her. Eventually, the truth will come out. In the meantime, she will look to you for comfort during this trying time in her life.

Corsoni doesn't talk much about her past, but something has forever changed her outlook. She spends her days lazily bouncing back and forth between surfing and wandering the shores of Lowoswah Island. If you're the helpful and patient kind of person, she might open up, but it will be slow going.

While her backstory is a mystery, Corsoni wears her personality on her shoulder. Don't let her cold looks fool you, once you get her to warm up, this fluffy woman can really light up, and get a little aggressive later on as well. Her aimlessness might be your benefit because if you befriend the gothy surfer, you might get a friend (and more) for life.

Zatanka was one of the top players of power tennis. Unfortunately, her temper got the better of her and she damaged her career during a championship bout. Because of her outbursts, the Ortheon woman was kicked out of the competition, but one of her friends holds out hope that they can get her back into the league.

While she waits for her friend to come through, Zatanka finds herself managing a gym on Lowoswah Island. Keeping seniors in shape is not what she expected to be doing during her best years, and she’s just about run out patience, until an interesting pair of people arrive.
