The game's OST is available for streaming 🎵

Hello everyone ːsotawinkː

I'm thrilled to announce that the original soundtrack of Sigh of the Abyss is now available on most streaming services! Enjoy it on Spotify, YouTube Music and more!

The OST's composer, Edwin Dizer (who also lent his voice to Alpheon in his song), will be doing write ups about the various tracks on his Instagram & other social media, so make sure to leave him a follow! He is incredibly talented and has been amazing to work with—if you enjoyed the OST, let him know ːsotawinkː

If you'd like to purchase the OST & directly support the composer, you can do so on Bandcamp!

Small guidebook update

Hello there ːsotawinkː
Today's small patch targeted an error in the guidebook.

The requirements for the 'Struck from the records' achievement were incomplete and have been updated.
The requirements to lynch the Patron Lord in Santanna have also been updated.
Additionally, the achievement guide was a bit hard to read, so it received a small revamp that should hopefully make it easier on the eyes ːsotaloveː
How to access the DLC
From the Steam library, right-click the game and select Manage > Browse local files.
A PDF reader is required to open the guidebook!

The artbook and guidebook are here~

Hello everyone ːsotaloveː I hope the changing seasons have been kind to you!
Sigh of the Abyss released one and a half months ago by now, and the Autumn Sales are a perfect time to celebrate~
Want even more Sigh of the Abyss?
If you're all about the art or want to dig through the many branching paths of the game, the artbook and the guidebook are for you ːsotawinkː these optional DLCs are a great way to show your support and get something nice in return.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3240980/Sigh_of_the_Abyss__Artbook/
The artbook collects all the art of the game. It's over 200 pages long and comes in two versions: one with developer notes and one without. Both are included, of course!
Small warning: the files are massive (almost 500 MB each), so they might take a while to load ːfoxintroubleː

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3348320/Sigh_of_the_Abyss__Guidebook/
The guidebook reveals the skill requirements of various choices, rare branches, optimal paths and additional content sprinkled around the game. It also includes an achievement guide!
Spoilers abound!
The artbook includes massive spoilers! The guidebook less so.
More on the way~
I am currently working on the lorebook and the short story collection—they will release somewhere in December/January. Here's a small preview:

A second compatibility patch is also in the works with a series of tweaks to improve the experience on Steam Deck. It's taking a while since some of the UI screens were not created with controller in mind, and need to be remade from the ground up without breaking anything in the process ːsotablushː

Compatibility patch 1

Hello everyone! I hope you have been enjoying Sigh of the Abyss ːsotaloveː
Today's patch introduces an array of improvements for Steam Deck users. I originally wanted the patch to include more compatibility adjustments, but split it in two to ship a bugfix earlier.

Without further ado, here are the patchnotes:
Fixes
 • Fixed a rare bug that made the 'Charchoal and flowers' scenario play twice. This was caused by a very specific sequence of events/choices, so it took me a while to narrow down!
 • Minor fixes to the Envoy's portrait in the stat menu;
Compatibility
 • Made the map UI controller-friendly;
 • Unified the look of the various textboxes and made them compatible with 16:10 screens. While this was made with the Steam Deck in mind, the fix will apply to all 16:10 screens!
 • Made adjustments to the stat UI to make it compatible with 16:10 screens;
Added on Nov 16
 • The Skitter Skitter achievement should now trigger properly;
 • Fixed some continuity issues when returning to Nessa after Lord Rizzo's death;

The second patch will introduce more UI reactivity to controller (like sounds) and better/more shortcuts.
Updated pricing for Poland
Some users pointed out that Steam's regional pricing tool was exceptionally unfair towards Poland. The game was more expensive there than in Western Europe, despite the country having less purchasing power. This seems to be a well-documented error of the regional pricing tool, which I manually corrected. The price has now been adjusted to zł 64.99!
