Rexic is bringing back the Awesomenauts Summer Art Contest!

The contest for this summer's theme will be "Stylish Coco" where Coco is drawn in the styles of other video games. Here are some examples from a previous iteration of this contest.

The contest has already begun and will run until 23:59 on August 13th, so be sure to send in your submissions before then! For more details about the contest or to submit your entry, go the the #art-contest channel in the Ronimo Community Discord. To submit your art, you can:

1st place will receive $50 + An exclusive custom Awesomenauts poker deck.

Awesomenauts will be turning 10 years old in August! We would like to thank everyone who has been part of this incredible journey! 🥳

Leading up to the 10th anniversary of Nauts, we will be taking a stroll down memory lane. Every week leading up to 1st August, we will be taking a look at a tournament match of Awesomenauts from each of the 10 years the game has been out, starting from this Wednesday 18th May, we will be live on the Official Ronimo Twitch Channel at 10am PT 1pm ET 7pm CET where I will be joined by Lead Animator Koen, who has been working at Ronimo since early 2012. We will review and break down a tournament match that took place in March 2013.

🎉 [h3]Celebration Plans[/h3]
Every week, we will be watching, reviewing, and breaking down a different match of Nauts from a different year. You may see guest appearances of some new faces, some old faces, and also some community favourites too! We will be talking about how Nauts has changed over the years, reminiscing the highs and lows, our favourite updates, metas, Nauts, maps, as well as our least favourite, of course. You can also expect some development insights and interesting stories we have had since we started Awesomenauts development in late 2008.

Although we stopped development for Awesomenauts since 2018 and have no plans to revisit the IP in the foreseeable future, we still plan on giving a "present" back to this amazing community to mark such a momentous occasion for the game. But we are not quite ready to reveal more details on this mystery gift yet.

Squeeze in a few more games over the weekend to hit that season high since the leaderboards are about to reset! A new season will commence on Monday 4th April 2022.

Expect to be matched with mixed skill levels in the first few days. Newer players who have played fewer than 100 games will automatically get a reduced rating so higher-ranked players are avoided. All other players will be reset to a rating of 10,000.

This reset only influences your leaderboard ranking. You’ll keep any character and account progress you’ve made.

If you are looking for a new challenge this season, sign up to the Awesomenauts Clone Wars Tournament, where you and your teammates all plays the same Naut! Join the Tournament Discord for more information. Sign-up by just clicking on the Naut(s) you would like to play in the #choose-teams channel, and you will automatically be grouped with other players who also chose the same Naut(s). The tournament starts on 16th April, so be sure to sign up before then!

There's a new tournament incoming! The Awesomenauts Clone Wars Tournament will have an interesting twist! Here are a few quick to-knows:
